Blaise   10 #13 Posted June 1, 2012 Well, the discussion was quite nice but I don't believe one that. I mean, I believe that pets are created on their own nature and naturally they are rapid to learn fast. You I usually don't care about the proper training. But my Siberian Husky may more brilliant than others.
 Share this content via...
One2Ten   10 #14 Posted June 2, 2012 hi, the beginners course can be any age dog, the beginners course covers basic obediance and socialisiation.  class on tonight, 7.30pm start for beginners 8.30pm for advanced class  Hi thanks, unfortunately we couldn't make it this week. I would like to bring her to the beginners course but I'm assuming it's 8 consecutive weeks rather than 8 weeks as and when you can get there. I can't make every Thursday and would miss quite a few so its a bit difficult really. I don't think she'd be ready for the advanced class as she hasn't got much focus when there's other people and dogs around. I'm not sure she'll listen at all at first.. Chessy   10 #18 Posted June 14, 2012 Hi there,  My one year old Lakeland is a big fan of bolting...she is fine when we take her out to the Peaks and up to Wadsley Common but bolts down the road if the front door gets left open.  Would anyone be able to recommend a class that could help me address this?  Thanks,  Chess
 Share this content via...
Pauliedw   10 #19 Posted June 14, 2012 Hi Chessy,  I'm happy to be proven wrong, but i haven't come across a group class that would deal with anything like that.  It is unfortunately one of those things that many owners reside to 'put up with' and make a point of not leaving doors open...  There is work you can do in terms of boundary training that should help, but i feel you'd be looking at a one to one session to deal with such an issue.
