adamf   10 #380 Posted February 22, 2012 I haven't had major roof work done, but I've been pleased with the gutter replacement and maintenance and roof repairs from Brian Fox & Sons in Millhouses. fiestat2 Â Â 10 #383 Posted April 9, 2012 is it possible to replace with a solid insulated roof with roof lights without building regs? im in ne derbyshire
 Share this content via...
jtkl2009 Â Â 10 #384 Posted April 9, 2012 Unfortunately not...... a solid roof takes away is exemption from the building regs - it makes it an extension. Has a lot of implications with if the existing frame is suitable to carry the new roof, does the consevratory have foundations strong enough for the new roof etc..... Â Anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong...... My friend has just done the same to his house and had to have building regs approval - he also is in NE Derbyshire
 Share this content via...
