Try Abbey Glen in Broomhill, corner of the block of shops that turns into Glossop Road.

Alternatively there's a place on Holme Lane near Hillsborough that does alterations.

Am wanting a major clothing alteration - not talking trousers taking up.

Talking turning a Football shirt into a vest style top for a gift.

Does anyone know anywhere I could get this done?

go and see trisha at dress2impress on middlewood road (hillsborough park tram stop- opposite natwest)

not only does trisha do alterations for some of the big bridal shops on ecclesall road, she also offers a made to order service.

if its a matter of tailoring im sure she will have experience of this through all her various types of work :)

hope this helps,
