  1. Hi, I also used the one at ASDA, I didn't realise the pictures are now uploaded to a central server and you can use the code you get to automatically use the photo when using the online passport renewal website (effectively meaning you don't actually need the physical photos). Regarding time, from application date to receiving the new passport was 10 days...although it should be noted that this was for a renewal of an expired passport rather than a first application.
  2. Because only then would they realise the benefits of Sheffield.
  3. Quite...looking forward to getting back at Christmas. There is not one thing that you can point to, I always feel that Sheffield is just one of the calmest / peaceful Cities I've ever lived in.
  4. Why yes sir it is, well spotted. “English as tuppence, changing yet changeless as canal water, nestling in green nowhere”
  5. Yorkshire looks an absolute picture from the TV...I have people from all over contacting me on facebook commenting on how beautiful my country looks. Makes you proud to be (adopted Yorkshire) British.
  6. Man...I am genuinely jealous of you lot being there to see it. Trust me to be away when the Tour comes to town. TO EUROSPORT!
  7. Ah...but Black Sabbath's Tommy Iommi has written the Armenian entry, who have now become my favourites for the win. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/black-sabbaths-tony-iommi-writes-eurovision-song-for-armenia-20130306
  8. If it hits us tonight I'm going to be rather miffed I bothered turning up for work today.
  9. Wool - Hugh Howey Post Apocalyptic tale of a group of people living in an underground silo. It's more of a collection of connected novellas, bit of a slow burner but I'm enjoying it.
  10. Didn't they play twice that year...once as support for Ozzy on the Ultimate Sin Tour and then again headlining with Anthrax as support. ...I'm old and my memory may be playing tricks with me.
  11. ...and where did this assumption come from that the Park Hill project is a failure? Urban Splash as a company has made a loss, there is nothing in the reports to suggest that the project is a failure (or anything approaching it) and looking at the sales site it seems that there are only a few units left from the first phase.
  12. Don't think so Bypassblade, as pointed out if these guys were English they'd cost a fortune (and in this day and age 11 million or so for three players is not bad) and they've obviously spent some time and money setting up a scouting network in France. Before Cabaye and Ben Arfa joined Newcastle I wonder how many English football fans had head of them.
  13. Planner1, not sure I would have put it as forthrightly as you but you are correct ALL places have their own issues, whether perceived or real. I'm absolutely certain that somewhere on the internet there is a forum for Knightsbridge or Richmond residents where they are all complaining about the state of the place and how it's going to the dogs.
