  8. i know exactly what your going through salts, after i had my 1st baby i had a ruptured ectopic so when i became pregnant for a 3rd time i was very anxious. I began bleeding on a sturday afternoon and was only 7wks pregnant so was sent straight upto EPU by my concerned GP. I was told as it was the weekend i wouldn,t be able to be scanned till the monday. I was fortunate that they kept me in and was monitored regularly but until i had that scan nobody knew for certain what was happening. I was eventually scanned at 4pm on the monday and because there were further complications i was kept in for a further week, but the outcome was good and i went on to have my son, and 2.5yrs ago went onto have my daughter and again was refered to the EPU with early bleeding and again had to wait over 2 days to be scanned as no machine was avaliable even though it was during the week. However the staff at the EPU are fantastic and do a wonderful job its just unfortunate and some what cruel to expect people to wait days for a scan, to find out the outcome of there pregnancy. Hope and pray everything works out ok x
