Shaken up

Yes so are a few others, so the in crowd gets bigger by the week. The DJ now has it set up for Karaoke, and everyone gets a chance to sing.!

Weds is starting to take off, with new people calling in and the old crowd coming back as DJ Mayhem has now got the Karaoke format all set up, with everyone getting a fair chance of singing. Keep posting even if it's putting the Place down, as it gets the thread to the top of the listings, and people think Hey! lets call-in and see for ourselves.

Well he has got 966 hits so far, and Thursday night saw a really good crowd in, then Saturday it was packed. So any comments gets the Name out there, so new people turn-up. It's all good.!

The Nelson Rock-Bar is looking to give up and coming Rock Bands, a spot on Friday nights. So I guess new bands need to contact The Boss at The Nelson.

"THE NELSON ROCK-BAR" does a quiz every Thursday night. Thats City centre opposite Debenhams top of The Moor.! You can win tickets for some great bands or beer tokens. Nice crowd get in early to get a table.

I thought you had changed your Title to DJ MAYHEM Nice crowd in last Thursday, it will take time for word to get round, you are playing their kind of Music.

I hear "THE NELSON ROCK-BAR" is going to hold a Mega Quiz soon with a Prize of £100 in drinks up for grabs, with something like 60-80 Questions on 6-8 subjects. But it will be for customers who have attended before. So get down and get your face seen on a Thursday night.

Someone told me The Nelson Rock-Bar is now doing Midweek Mayhem with a New DJ on a Weds Night. Is this Bar going to be the Place to be, when the New Limit Club Opens a Few Yards down the Rd.

My Friends won 2 Tickets to see a Top Band worth £55 last week. Then gave them away to someone in the Bar, as they could not go on that night. It must be nice to be able to do that and make someones day.!

The Nelson is still doing Karaoke with DJ Col. On a Weds. A change was needed, they may get some better singers in.!

Hope to see the couple who helped me with the Quiz last week, at The Nelson Rock-Bar. We did not win but at least we had a good try.! The age should be raised to 25. It is up to the Licensee to who he lets in the Venue. At the end of the day the buck stops with him, if the customers cause trouble It's him that will loose his Business.
