  1. Saw him yesterday so I know he's around but I seem to remember him saying he's cutting right back with a view to retiring Might be worth giving him a call though
  2. Looking for recommendations for a rock n roll/ jive band for a birthday party in August (mid week). Anybody hired one recently?
  3. We've lived on the estate for 8 years now. Very quiet and no trouble
  4. Does anyone have any recommendations for a database that can be used on a MacBook Pro? Must be able to do a mail merge from it
  5. Same here. Nothing but good to say about them Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  6. I think I am correct in saying you can go in to a bus lane to pass a vehicle turning right so you need not be paranoid. That is incorrect. Highway Code rule 165 Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  7. If you read the road signs properly, the bus lane only operates during the rush hour. Outside the times stated on the signage, just use the left hand lane. Having said that, I agree that during rush hour, it will make things difficult. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  8. That is correct. And it has to be three CLEAR working days, which given that we've got New Years Day this week (which isn't a working day), unless the test is on Saturday, then I'm afraid it looks like the thief has cost you another £62. The Driving Standards Agency don't accept any excuses. No licence = no test. It's no use ringing the local test centre, they can't do anything. Try ringing the national booking centre on 0300 200 1122 but they are usually quite rigid in their stance
  9. Depends what you're looking for. This is my daughter's website http://sarahsmithartwork.weebly.com/artwork.html
  10. Why on earth wouldn't they charge? They're providing a service for you - it's not part of the NHS!
  11. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android ---------- Post added 22-09-2013 at 18:48 ---------- oops! A bit previous there! Just to clarify, all Approved Driving Instructors MUST display their green authorising Certificate (commonly known as a badge) in the windscreen of their vehicle whilst they are giving lessons. If you can't see one, then ask where it is. If they can't produce one, they are teaching you illegally Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
