  1. lol thats put my mind at rest as i thought i had an electrical fault on my car i looked all the way around it under the bonnet in the boot and found nothing. thats that question answered.
  2. So where do you buy these radios that only have one channel radio sheffield? if you dont like him turn the channel over!!!
  3. 16 and a half yrs ago my wife and i (we wasn't married at the time) lived on sicey avenue, the house was one of her school friends who had moved out some yrs before, my missus was pregnant and we were going through a bad patch, so i can only put it down to her hormones she insisted that i slept at my parents house so every night i would see her to bed give her a kiss and go to my mum and dads, on one day while i was at work she phoned me to say why had i come back last night?...i said i hadn't, she said she had heard the floor boards creek in the bedroom as i walked to the bed side sit on the bed kiss her cheek then had left again. i swore to her that i hadn't. about 6 months later i was in the pub talking to a fella who lived there he was the brother of my wifes friend, he asked how he had loved living there until his dad had passed away in the coal house which had been made into a little workshop, then he said has my dad kissed your missus on her cheek yet as his mother said that she was certain his spirit had done this to her most nights. i don't believe in the supernatural but it is spooky to say the least
  4. Half of deerlands avenue and all of buchanan crescent have not had street lighting for 2 months now, i phoned the council who said that their was an underground electrical fault and would have it fixed asap. now listening to radio sheffield the other morning on the news was residents of low edges complaining about their street lights being on 24 hours a day everyday.....wow if only! ---------- Post added 29-11-2013 at 02:03 ---------- (THERE) sorry for the wrong spelling,
  5. i agree with you it may only be 50p, when a shop is boasting that it is 10% cheaper than its rivals then they should pay extra attention to their pricing , what if they did it on 10 or 15 items in your weekly/monthly shop? its not fair in this day and age when money is tight and these organisations are crowing about how much turnover they made the year before .
  6. i used to work on the moorfoot for 20 odd years and saw this event on many occasion as i walked up through the moor between 4 and 5pm before it got to dark it was very mesmerising.
  7. can just see the court case now....JOE BLOGGS YOU ARE HERE BY CHARGED WITH STEALING FOOD THAT HAS BEEN THROWN AWAY BY SUPERMARKETS AND YOU ARE SENTANCED TO 2 YRS HARD LABOUR!! for godsake is this how petty have we become
  8. All the people who are against nurses having free parking will never see the benefit of it until they desperatley need the help of these professionals, and for the information of some do you really believe the pay is fantastic?
  9. well in stead of paying money out on things that only SOME people use why are our roads in such a state to where they are damaging our vehicles, why not spend money out on things that MOST people use....in short we pay our taxes give us a vote on where we feel our money should be spent
  10. theres no way of getting out of the fine mate just pay up. but all the do gooders on here throwing in their tuppenny opinions, i bet your lead a damn boring life living by the rules, bet the most dareing thing your have done is park in a parent and child parking spot when theres only been you in the car and got away with it and i bet your felt right rebels!! because you broke a rule!
  11. use a teaspoon full of icing sugar and a teaspoon full of baking powder aka bicarbonate of soda, mix these two together and put small amounts down where you have seen the ants, the ants will be attracted to the icing sugar and will begin to eat some and take more back to the nest to feed others but because the baking powder has been mixed in the ants will eat some of this also so, as their anatomy is different to that of mammals they cannot expel gas, to which this expands inside them and then they ( in a very small scale) explode so they and the nest will die, and no poisons have been put down in your house to harm children or animals.
  12. why is there so many cynical people, smoking isnt the be all and end of things you know, how do you know that these people are lying, are you basing this on your own character, would you lie on a questionaire?
