  1. indeed. The moral of THIS story is read the manual/website!
  2. yes you need one if your mobile can receive TV via streams. Same for the PC for live Iplayer and sky player etc. You need one too if your computer has a TV card in it. It's about having equipment that can receive it even if you choose to or not.
  3. LOL don't just miss it then get your time management in order!
  4. Did someone take it offline? good! It's a social virus
  5. Or turn that part of FB off. google it and you shall receive
  6. Have a listen to our Communitives Live! program which is on daily between 12-1pm We have events as well as a lot of organisations requiring help with productions. We are on 93.2FM and online at http://www.sheffieldlive.org
  7. Because it is not as easy to get a job as people assume it is. I have a friend who applied for anything, cleaner, supermarkets, call centres. (registered with most agencys around here) and it took her 4 months to get something. She applied for so many jobs (8-10 a week) that the job centre told her to stop applying because she may get a sea of acceptance letters.
  8. My my what a ****ty attitude you have there. I am currently out of work ( thanks to the goverment's cutbacks) and the way I see it is like this. YES I get £121 a week for a place to live. YES I get £65.35 a week in JSA> YES it's likely that I will be out of work for 6 months so let's see that's. £2904 for my flat and. £1568.4 for me (A far pace from the lifestyle I have always worked hard for) I'm 48. Single bloke. Worked since I was 16. Now for all those who think I am a "sponger" I ask you this. This is the first time I have EVER been without a job in 32 years. And while I will be paid £4472.40 over the next 6 months WHAT about the £143,296 I have put into the system? NO-ONE seems to give a stuff about that!. The bloody goverment put me here. Dam bloody right they can support me!. I don't begrudge anyone else for claming from a pot they put into. so WHY do you!? Sorry but people like you make my **** turn green!
  9. My ex won £20,000 twice within 2 years through his work. I would suggest you buy some spelling lessons
  10. no its spam I get them too. just delete them
  11. You can get a word viewer http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=3657ce88-7cfa-457a-9aec-f4f827f20cac&displaylang=en I've sent you a PM OP I think I can help.
  12. I can sympathise. I ran a campain to ger BT to my friends area. I got 1900 signups. BT told me it would cost them £33.4k to fibre the town. No problem I said here's 1900 people commiting to sign up. and even if everyone took the basic infinity package you would get £44.9K a month revenue which is £538.8K a year. They turned me down.. So we are all stuck on 4.5mpbs ADSL. BT's excuse was this. If your line does not already get more than 15mbps download then there is no point installing FTTC. Excuse me DID I miss the ENTIRE point and purpose of FTTC? Idiots!
  13. true. Also 100mbps is the same price as 50mb without a phone line (£45) and there is a bundle deal. Not hear anything about 250 or 500 or even 1GB yet. The network might handle it but how they will traffic manage and monitor it is beyond me. I see a lot of customer using TB's of usage every month and never getting a letter and some using 300GBs and getting one. The " official" limit is 350GB during peak times. I have virgin, I work for them. I also have BT Infinity and if virgin can complete with the upload ( currently 13.6mbps on BT) they will be laughing.
  14. And you speak to someone like me and we all love to listen and sort things out so thats the best route. So please call we are there 8am-8pm
