The other day I was cycling up Long Lane and spotted at least 12 empty cans of Skol Super (8% loopy juice lager) thrown into the road side at fairly regular intervals. I just hope no-one is driving whilst drinking that stuff!

Where to buy white grape juice in Sheffield?
Mr Chips replied to Mr Chips's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
White grape juice in cartons, the drinking variety. I know it's not made from the right sort of grapes for making proper wine, but I want to make some white fruit juice wines. Used to make it years ago and it was nice, not quite the same as shop bought wine, but quite drinkable (and cheap!). -

Cheers I'll try Lidl again, then Waitrose and sainsburies. Don't know about crushing grapes, think it would be cheaper buying wine than buying enough grapes to make a gallon of juice! -

Does anyone know where I can buy pure white grape juice (not grape juice drink)? I know Lidl sell pure red grape juice, but I tried Tesco, Asda, B + M, Home bargains, Iceland to no avail. Want it for making homebrew wine. Cheers. -

First Time Camper - Advice & Tips?
Mr Chips replied to gaze1981's topic in Sheffield Camping & Caravanning
You will also need an air bed or roll mat (unless you are ok with hard cold floors), at least a headtorch for lighting, and waterproof jacket. I would also take a cheap single stove (£10 or so) and kettle as a cup of tea never tastes better than when made outside your tent first thing in the morning. have fun! I thought the story was that the temperature over usa went down? like how it's warmer on a cloudy night than a clear one. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android -

stannington? Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android -
me and a mate took ours down after recieving similar high quotes. we soaked it first to reduce fibres going into the air, wore disposable suits and asbestos grade masks. double bagged/wrapped it all and took to tip. we had to cut through a few bolts though. not a nice job but didn't have the money to pay someone else. this was a while ago though. have you got roof bars? if so, wrap the pipes in pvc sheeting (wickes/b+q), duct tape up and carry on roof bars to tip. avoid cutting if at all possible. thats what i did with an old garage roof. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android

God, I remember getting dragged to these by my mum in the late 70s/early 80s. loads of gossiping women and a couple of bottles of blue nun if i remember rightly. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android -
