  1. Ha ha nice one... but apparently you have got a beard :-)
  2. Roly poly Toby's audience is made up of mainly (hard-up) working class people, yet he boasts at every opportunity -- Mercs, motor home, luxury holidays etc. He's pompous, self opinionated, obnoxious and tries to bully easy victims while dodging the tougher callers. However, the self-styled comic who says he survives on four hours sleep is a heart attack waiting to happen - money-grabbing round the clock, he admits he drinks too much, smokes too much and eats too much. Every cloud as they say ....must dash to listen to him.
  3. Toby Foster at his hilarious best this morning.I express no opinion of who is right or who is wrong. First:a sympathetic interview with Nick Clegg saying Sheffield should take in Syrian refugees but the council has refused because of cuts. Second: Punter phones up and asks: "How many refugees live where you do?.. Harley (quaint little village near Wentworth)" Toby:"I've no idea." Punter (laughter):"Well I do... none... maybe you should take some instead of places like Eastwood (Rotherham)" Further tetchy exchanges .. "don't talk over me Toby like you usually do..." then suddenly line goes dead...Toby Foster's explanation "We ran out of time."
  4. Wonder what he's done wrong - in can't be the fact that he is an arrogant, pompous, self-opinionated, boastful presenter because that applies to most of those hired by the BBC and he has won awards. Unfortunately the radio at work is permanently tuned to Radio Sheffield... so I am nauseatingly familiar with his incoherent babble - for which we licence payers shell out a handsome fee. He then boasts that he runs a company with a £1 million turnover, hiring comics, promoting shows and performing stand-up every weekend. I'm surprised he has the time to grab all the cash the Beeb throw at him for his breakfast show and fronting Inside Out. He is obviously a hard worker and I have no problem with people earning wads for hard work and enterprise in a free market. I just have a problem with the BBC and the way they splash the cash when they don't have to chase the ratings for commercial reasons.
