  1. My 5 Year old Pixel C Tablet is wi fi connected to my plugged in Sky Router, I am thinking of buying one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-M7350-Portable-Unlocked-management/dp/B06XC16QC1/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=tp-link+m7350&qid=1706383589&sr=8-3 Would it be simple to switch often from the Sky internet supply to the Mobile broadband supply, if possible it would help if someone could explain how. 2. Hi everybody Some comments and advice on buying this treadmill would be appreciated. https://www.amazon.co.uk/REDLIRO-Portable-Treadmills-Bluetooth-Treadmill/dp/B08Y8JVM8V/ref=sr_1_57?dchild=1&keywords=Under+Desk+Treadmill&qid=1631553303&sr=8-57 My weight is 8 stone/50kl and the motor is only 1 HP it would only be used at walking pace but it worries me it could be undepowered Almost every day since I retired in 1995 I have kept fit by going for a brisk walk ranging from 1 hour in the early years to the one and a half miles in around 30 minutes I do now. I decided that although I am pretty fit and nimble for my age (88) it's time to do my exercise indoors when it is cold. I am not interested in treadmills with their fancy readouts or bluetooth additions i just want to get on it do my 30 minutes or so and get off. I also dont want to spend more than £400 because at my age I might be here today and gone tommorrow
  3. Does the X5 bus go pass Quarry Lane in North Anston On Monday I'm going for my Corona Virus injection at the Anston Health Centre and I may have to go on the bus from Aston. Also how far down Quarry Lane is the Health Centre. Thanks
  4. Alternative to a bracket is a piece of velcro this would be plenty strong enough to secure the SSD to the side of a computer. The SSDs are almost light enough to fasten them to the side of the computer with a piece of chewing gum
  5. I bought my 4GB of memory(£18) via the the site link on Crucial to CCL Computers. Order it online on Friday morning received it Saturday (first class post ) had it fitted for £10 on Monday at Complex Compters at Handsworth who did it while I waited . Job done and dusted well worth the total cost of £28
  6. I have a Asus UX 31OUA Zenbook fitted with 4GB RAM. To speed it up a bit I intend to buy a extra 4GB RAM from the website Crucial. I have used their special tool to inform me of the correct ram but their web page lists two different 4GB sticks at the same price. Could someone tell me which one to choose or will either one be OK Link to Crucial RAM list below https://uk.crucial.com/gbr/en/scanview/A4EDE81431D926C3#MEMORYFilters Thanks
  7. I am not sure if this has anything to do with it There are 32 and 64 bit versions of the OS and as the NC 10 was a bit old in the teeth I installed the 32bit version (there is no support for this version). As I am not a computer genius I must have been a bit lucky getting it to install. Another screen shot here http://postimg.cc/q6RYZLnm
  8. Hi Ghozer Just caught up with your post I bought this Samsung NC10 (new) around 10 years ago at the time I think it was running Windows XP on 1gb of ram a bit later in its life I up it to 2gb ram and a 120 gb SSD for a install of Windoes 7 but it was very slow. After this I tried a a couple of versions of Linux but it was not much faster I then stopped using the NC 10 years ago it till a few weeks ago when I read about Cloudready which I think is a stripped down version of Google operating system so out of curiousity I thought I would try to install it on the NC10. After 3 tries I was evetually successfull with the install. Its never been lightning fast and I dont know how it performs other than the internet but it is definitely fast enough not to get frustrated for internet use. Click on links below Loading operating System http://postimg.cc/64ct3t82 Loaded and waiting for password (Cloudready insignia top right corner) http://postimg.cc/YLCYj2dT https://www.neverware.com/#intro
  9. Should have mentioned, out of curiousity I installed this OS (32 bit version) on an old Samsung NC10 (2GB ram) and I dont tjhink it has ever run so fast
