  1. Hello again!! Linking in with my other thread - I am also looking for a company we can hire a coach from for the day. We would want picking up in Nottingham around 10am, ferrying to various sites around Sheffield, and coming back to Nottingham maybe 10 or 11pm. Again there would be 50-75 people, ideally we would like everyone to get on the same coach, and again not too expensive!! Any offers or ideas of who to try greatly appreciated
  2. Hi! I'm bringing a load of people over to Sheffield from my new job in Nottingham for a Fun Day, and one of the things we want to do is go out for a meal in the evening - but as you can see there are quite a lot of us!! Can anybody recommend anywhere -preferably in the city centre -not too pricey -that can accomodate all our group? Thanks!!
  3. Trams are quite expensive for the one or two stops from town to the station, best to walk if you have the time; go through the bus interchange and it takes 5 mins, 10 max if you're a slow walker! (depending which bit of town you start in; this is assuming you're near the tram tracks at castle square or ponds forge)
  4. Can I trade you for my fat lump of a cat... she never seems to do much any more!
  5. Bloody scallies, there are quite a few here in Nottingham who insist on riding them round the main roads; god forbid if one of them comes near me when I'm out for a driving lesson, I can't be held accountable...
  6. Pinch, punch, first of the month!!
  7. Its ok if they have your lenses in stock, mine never are But i was impressed with specsavers the other week, i got some presciption sunglasses, and after a few days decided they weren't dark enough. I took them back and they'd darkened them within an hour, all for free
  8. Bloody parents, can't keep their computer working on the right settings for more than 10 secs... and then have the cheek to blame me when it'll actually just be me thats left to fix it coz they're so useless... Anyways! Something is wrong with javascript, only about half the scripted links open in a new window like they should, the other ones do nothing. It doesnt seem to be any particular ones that work or don't, sometimes its ones in emails, sometimes off websites etc. I've made sure they're all enabled in the IE settings, and downloaded some kind of patch, but it failed to work its magic! anyone got any suggestions, much appreciated
  9. Maybe its just that nothings changed so theres nothing to refresh....?
  10. I'm bored... quite drunk (anyone kno any good ways to sober up quick)... my dad is coming in about 3 hrs to pick up someof my stuff....
  11. Noooooooooooo! Theres no need for manuals, unless u get in serious trouble (cant find the on button etc...)
  12. If that happened I'd ring/take it to animal rescue, and make sure I kept comforting it meanwhile. The other week I was in the pub and a woman outside accidentally hit a cat, she rang the rspca and waited til they came, but why didnt she put a blanket on the cat and stroke it to comfort it? Surely it is more cruel to let it leave the world cold and alone?
  13. Yes I have just had to rescue my housemates drunken and supposedly beat-to-within-an-inch-of-his-life boyfriend. I am NOT impressed.
  14. my last day in Sheffield..... and all is not going well, maybe I should just give up now?
  15. What bothers me more is when its on 2 channels at once (terrestrial). It severly limits the choice for other people and there really is no need, they're really just money grabbing trying to get the most viewers.
