Hi Everyone John Ledwood here. I lived at 168 up to I think 1960 when our house was the last to be demolished in the clearance.. I remember the Mitchells as they lived in our yard and we used to play together. My grandparents ran The Woodman at one time. 168 was near the top opposite a high wall which enclosed ground bordering on Woodfold. Happy memories of playing on the Wood (no trees) and fishing the 7 ponds of Roe Wood.

Hi Everyone Lots of familiar names and happy memories rekindled. John Ledwood here - the lanky geek -I was in 1b then 2a etc up to sixth form at H.H. Can remember Geoff as he always got to pick the team and I was always chosen last! Steve Radford from the sixth, i remember you were a good drawer Steve as well as a musician - We had a poll to invent a name for your group, I came up with "The Mixture" and "Vandergraff Generator".Do you remember our fishing trips to River Witham and hols. to Norfolk Broads Phil? Anybody heard from MCKB Martin Christopher Kingsley Bloomfield -we cimbed all the Welsh three thousanders in '67. Did any of you come on the train spotting trips to Donny.
