If you want decent sound then steer away from a sound bar. I had one and quickly sold it as it just was not good enough and now use the audio hi-fi for the sound. I have one of these and rout the audio from the TV via spdif it then goes analogue from this converter to the stereo. TBH I prefer the 16:10 aspect ratio but the only drawback is because its on a HDMI cable from the PC its seen as 16:9. But, its hardly noticeable and not much to worry about. One thing to consider is that games consoles seem to render fine without much problems using a TV.

Not sure about the box, even though it splits the signal it sounds like a filter problem. Try plugging a filter into the phone side and then plug the router and phone into that to see if that helps.

Its not an OSX rip off, its a Linux OS (Red Hat based) made to look like OSX that's all. Cant see what the fuss is about as Linux has had this OSX lookalike for years.

Hi. I'm having problems with a cyborg R.A.T.3 mouse not being recognised properly on Zorin, it will not allow clicking on items. I have done some checking and know how to fix it using Ubuntu by using the xorg.conf file but Zorin seems not to use one. Done a search on-line but no joy. I have used xinput -list and it has given the details of the mouse as; Saitek Cyborg R.A.T.3 Mouse Anyone know what conf file to alter? Thanks.

I'm sick of them also and have just had a bad experience with renewing my contract with them. My contract was a few days from finishing so I decided to renew. I looked at their advertisement and read that they did an unlimited phone and broadband package for £2.50 PM for 12 months plus the usual line rental. When I finally go through I asked if they would renew it the same as advertised and was told yes, so I decided to go ahead. I received confirmation and to my surprise the contract stated 12 month line rental but a 24 month broadband contract. After the initial 12 months at £2.50 they then would then charge £9.99 for the next 12 months. I Phoned again and after 24 mins got through to complain and said the advert was misleading as people would assume the broadband contract would also be for 12 months. I quoted the advert and was then told to look at the link "Here's the legal bit." That stated that the broadband contract was for 18 months at £2.50 for the first 12 months and then £9.99 thereafter. I complained again and then stated that in the details that I received the contract states 24 months. The reply was "its because it was done on the phone!" After much complaining in the end they relented and reduced it to a 12 month contract so when this one is up I shall give them the boot. It would be interesting if people here could look at the ad and see what they make of it as to me, not stating up front that the broadband is for 18 months is very misleading.

Unfortunately you will need an XP disk to fix this. You boot up with the disk and go into the recovery console, from there you chose the fixmbr command. That will then write a new boot record, you then take out the cd and boot up as normal. Sorry, got interrupted while writing and another poster suggested the same.

Have you tried discharging the cmos on the motherboard? Also, what make/model motherboard is it?
