  1. I suffered terrible with all my pregnancys, It use to even wake me in the night and get me to the point of crying, until i found Remegel, there like minty chews, and literally from the minute i started chewing it went. I use to keep a packet under my pillow. They were absolutely brilliant, i swear by them.
  2. My Step-daughter is in the army and has been for 11yrs, also my foster daughter has just started her training. For my foster daughter especially i think its excellent for her, as she doesn't have much family (only really us) and the army is like an extended family, she too wants to go into the medical side. I'll be honest its not a lifestyle i could live, but if it is something you enjoy its a very well paid, well looked after career. If within the first 12wks of training you find you dont like it, you can come out at any time, plus up until your 18 its a little easier, but after your 18th, you have to give a lengthy notice. But either way good luck to you and i wish you well in whatever you decide.
  3. :hihi:How brilliant is that, I'm a thirty something mum of 7 and know all of this is true, i often say to my brood, "we didn't have one of those and we certainly never had one of those" lol. How time fly's.
  4. :hihi:I'm a soft so and so, i'm only sat crying after reading this:hihi:
  5. quote I wonder if you'd feel the same if you'd been holding your wedding reception there? It wouldn't bother me in the slightest, and all my family and friends know me well enough not to condemn someone for their actions, what people do for a living (as long as its not harming anyone) is nothing to do with anyone but themselves.
  6. Well i haven't even met storm, and i pm'd to say about my car, unfortunatly its too old for insurance purposes, but i didn't for one minute think "their gonna run off to foreign parts with my car, never to be seen again":hihi:.
  7. Well said, I myself couldn't be a prostitute, but i certainly wouldn't condemn anyone for doing it, and as you say samstar, at least she's in a safe environment, not in a bus shelter or down some back alley. And at least the bloke is willing to pay for a decent hotel as well as her fee. And before everyone starts having a go about the bloke, some men are frustrated, and again at least he's willing to pay good money. And yes the hotel should allow them the room, because it would be more than their job is worth if they did make comment and god forbid they were wrong, but again they were paying for the room so why would that be any different to a couple having an affair and booking a room just for a couple of hours. I dont think it lowers the tone at all.
  8. We all love ours, i usually feed a minimum of 8, so its lovely us all sat round the table to a lovely sunday roast. We'll be having ours today about 4, yum yum:hihi:
  9. :)Ooh home made ones are alot nicer, i never par boil mine though, i just cut them up and put them round my meat, i've got some in the oven as we speak, round a yummy piece of pork.
  10. I'm a foster carer, but help lots of Young offenders, teenagers, etc its something i thoroughly enjoy doing and the job satisfaction is worth more than any money:)
  11. When the young people i help and care for say "you know your better than any mum i've had, i love you so much"
  12. I would love for them to stay with us, and they would too, but unfortunatly because i have my own 5 still at home, i just dont have the space, and although i've always said i'm not in this job for the money thats just a bonus, i do need an income, this is why were all hoping they take to the army life (which training has just started today), that way their not in the system anymore and can share a bedroom with one of my own children. Either way they know they always have a home here, even if they no longer have their own room.
  13. I'm sorry and dont mean to have a rant, but i agree with most people on here, 16 is a very young age to be flying the nest, i have 5 children of my own, a step-daughter plus i'm a foster carer, my step daughter left home to join the army, and has been in 11yrs now, my eldest son is 20 and has no intentions of leaving home, same as my 19yr old son who's in a relationship. my foster placement( i have to put for legal reasons, but their alot more than just a placement to us), has been with us 4yrs, social services are saying they have to move this young person on as they are now turning 18, i still think this is too young, as this person is not ready for the big bad world. There's no wonder so many youngsters turn to crime, when faced with such harsh reality's at such a young age.
