  1. Thank you in advance for your help. ---------- Post added 06-02-2018 at 05:15 ---------- Can anyone help?
  2. So I want to make a small ice sculpture and wondered if there is a stone, even if I have to buy tiles of it like in a hardware store, that would take the water as it melts. Thanks for your help.
  3. I bought a Pantone mug as I was thinking to collect them again. When I lived in the UK I had almost every colour, but I remember them being a porcelain, thinner mug, much nicer to drink from. This one just feels like any old mug.
  4. It is the start of a series... but I really need help in finding a barcode from a source I can trust.
  5. I have created a greeting card that I would like to start selling. Just privately for now but I am not sure if I want to sell it further, that is why I think buying a barcode would be a good idea. However I am seeing prices from 4 cent to 250 dollars. Can anyone advise? I would like to possibility of selling internationally, having a guaranteed unique barcode. Thank you for your help.
  6. I have my dog a beef shank (it was frozen for weeks before she got it) and she ate everything off it, leaving only the small ring bone in the centre. However I wonder just how long is OK for her to keep that bone, should it be thrown out because of germs pretty quickly?
  7. Thanks for the reply. No it is for my dog, so I would prefer not to cook. I will search for somewhere I can buy these things unfrozen and then when I freeze them it will be the first time they are frozen.
  8. So I bought chicken necks for my dog but they were a block of ice, inseparable. I put them in the refrigerator but nothing happened twelve hours later, so I left them on the kitchen counter top for another twelve hours. Then they finally came apart and I was able to put them into ziplock bags as individual portions for later. I then put the bags in the freezer. 1. Is this a no go? 2. Those who say it is OK say that the two times freezing however does affect the quality of the meat. Why? Does it make it less nutritious? Thank you in advance for your help.
  9. It's not so much about like or dislike, I'm just trying to find an object that is understood by some differently than others be it reasons of morals, religion, and so on. Marmite, for example, would not be a strong enough answer for what I am looking for.
  10. ... articles, before the days of the Internet. I found these and need the right name for them. They are A3 pages, and printed on them in scrapbook-like fashion are articles from a particular event. Wasn't there a service before the days of the Internet that you could request all articles on a particular topic and they would be presented to you like this at a cost? Thanks for your help!
  11. I think there is more to it than that. Charcoal is even used to treat someone after an overdose. Urea is now in so many skin products.
  12. The club has been on the go since the early 1980s and they have always boasted that points never expire. They have this week announced that points for an account that is inactive for 12 months or more will automatically expire!
  13. About a year ago a friend of mine had diarrhoea and took charcoal for it! We started to read the information leaflet (it came from the pharmacist) and the benefits seemed endless. Ever since I've been having two tablets in water weekly. About a month ago another friend offered me a face wash made by L'Oreal he didn't like, it contains charcoal! I'm in love with the product! I also love their white face wash and the two contrasting colours go nicely side by side in the bathroom. And though they're sold as face wash I use them as shower gel too. I looked further and found a goats milk soap containing charcoal too. I find the charcoal has helped a little bit of eczema I've had and as soon as it touches the skin it gives a (literally) squeaky clean feel. I suppose I'm starting the thread to find other experiences, ideas or perhaps even warnings. Regarding the latter, I was always told eating too much burned toast was carcinogenic because of the black stuff. Isn't that also just charcoal?
