I am a Club DJ with experience in places likes replica, Players Bar and Tiger Works looking to get into clubs to play more regularly. I am very familiar with the student crowd and play indie, chart, r & b and occasional trance. Any ideas...

Would there be equipment, ie speakers and lights provided?

I would like to thank those of you that gave useful comments and some of these suggestions I have tried and has worked and have managed to get to opportunities to DJ at different events.

You don't need to go on a course, I had used virtual DJ for a year with no controller or anything and just learnt by watching videos on Youtube and thats how I learnt what the buttons are and what is needed.

I am a 1st student at the moment and do have a proper job as bar staff but this is a hobby i'm looking to pursuit.

I am a new DJ that is looking for an opportunity to DJ anywhere, for free. My main music is chart, but also indie and 90s with other styles featuring. I have contacted many different places in Sheffield looking for an opportunity and 6 months later still nothing.
