They are filming " This is England" I asked the film crew

Went to The Showroom cinema last night because the film I wanted to see wasn't showing at the odeon in town. Tickets were £15.80 for two. And we were queuing for ages because of a doc feast event. You were allocated numbered seats. When we got in the cinema it was dark, not surprising!! So we couldn't see the numbers. A man on the row helped us by telling us which numbers he and his wife were sitting. It turned out that someone was sitting in our seats but we just sat next to them so as not to cause a bother as the film was about to start. During the film we could hear sounds coming from the event in the next door cinema. Luckily we enjoyed the film but not the experience of going to the showroom. Oh and the manager in the foyer was quite rude!!

Go to the top of Blake St in lower walkly. The view is spectacular. Then go in the Blake pub because the beer is spectacular as well

I voted no for a mayor in sheffield - only need to look at the mayor in doncastor to realise why we don't want one! What would the salary have been for a mayor any way?

There is a white van and 2 youths going around Matlock Road looking for scrap metal. I saw them in a neighbour's garden and told them to clear off.

I have always lived in walkley originally on duncombe st. I went to st mary's from 1957-1963 and then went to city grammar.

I used to go to the ark on fridays & saturdays in the late 60s & loved it! I still live at walkley.
