  1. "Want their country back"... from who/what? Of all the things he claimed he wanted to "take back" on the various news pieces yesterday... *every* one was a direct result of the policies of the government he's been part of for the last 5 years!
  2. Mogg reportedly very unhappy that no-one actually wanted it: UK quietly drops Brexit law to return to imperial measurements: https://www.ft.com/content/d818e25a-dd79-4080-b689-53fc96955878 "Jacob Rees-Mogg attacks decision despite public consultation that revealed little appetite for move away from metric system" Government now spending a lot more time, effort and money on turd polishing attempts... than actual governing! Mounting costs and red tape hit UK exporters three years after Brexit: https://www.ft.com/content/203f0d33-a30c-4dfa-8eae-b578ad3dec52 The UK is standing still, and it's costing them a fortune! Farmers’ leader slams post-Brexit agricultural policy: https://www.ft.com/content/8dc3115e-6b95-47db-b188-d43a6528110e New subsidy scheme in England benefits big landowners disproportionately, NFU boss says Farmers slowly but surely going the way of fishermen, under the bus. The post Brexit - Canada deal... expires on Monday... Like British cheddar? Enjoy it while you can still find it: https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/uk-cheese-import-changes-1.7065052 Canada's dairy industry believes the U.K.'s decision to leave the EU (and by extension, CETA) shouldn't become their problem to fix. Canada rejects British attempt to secure tariff-free exports: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2023/dec/23/hard-cheese-canada-rejects-british-attempt-to-secure-tariff-free-exports Many UK cheese makers could face 245% duty from 1 January, making exporting unaffordable
  3. Netanyahu received 23.4% vote share from a voter turnout of 70.6%... A claim made by no-one, created in your head... a result of ignorance.
  4. The Juno Missions to Jupiter, Pioneer 10, The Hubble & James Web Space Telescopes, Voyager 1 & 2, The Chandra X-ray Observatory, The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, Pathfinder, Spirit and Curiousity rovers, The ISS, Huygens Probe to Titan, Hundereds of programs monitoring the earth, The entire Space Shuttle program, which spawned many completely new technologies... ....the list goes on. "Nothing" It's almost like you literally have no idea what you're talking about. Complete nonsense. Obama's announcement of his intention to abort NASA’s Constellation program gave commercial space enterprise a fresh impetus, stating that "The American flag on the ISS will reside there until an American commercial space company launches astronauts to the station”. Obama played a key role in making SpaceX possible, it was his policy to focus on stronger partnerships with the private sector, allowing NASA to give out contracts to the emerging commercial space industry. It was NASA's $1.5 billion contract that saved SpaceX from insolvency. SpaceX is primarily a government contractor that exists in it's present form as a result of Obama's policies, not in spite of them!
  5. It's not just moderates this time.
  6. You only have to look at your contributions over in the Brexit thread, to see that's clearly nonsense... ...you characterise legal migrants as "low paid, who don't pay tax, benefit scroungers". In reference to legal migration: Illegal immigration isn't even a huge problem, accounts for less than 4% this year, a result of Brexit.
  7. That the money was for the people of Gaza is the dressed up bit 🙄 What it was really for: "The calculus was to keep Hamas strong enough to counteract the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, allowing Netanyahu to avoid a two-state peace solution and keep both sides weak." Better luck next time
  8. In essence, Netanyahu knew all about it and turned a blind eye. Sure, but as has been established repeatedly, what you believe tends not to bear any relation to reality. The Times of Israel is "independent and nonpartisan". A quick lookup table for Al: Haaretz focuses on how evil Israel is to the Palestinians. Jerusalem Post on how evil the Palestinians are to Israel. Times of Israel is in the middle. Are any of them praising Netanyahu, at the moment? 🙄 You're so, so far right that everything is left to you? Not at all! 🤣
  9. Nope, that most certainly is not the sole target of Jacks complaints, equally scathing about those that came legally.
  10. Complaining about immigration, given our history and the benefits it has brought, falls squarely within these bounds Is that better, or worse, than complaining and slighting immigrants who, in the vast majority, did precisely what you're hoping to do yourself? Hypocrisy you say?
  11. Israel drove suitcases stuffed with cash into Gaza to keep Hamas in power: https://www.businessinsider.com/israel-security-forces-escorted-suitcases-cash-hamas-qatar-report-2023-12 For years, Netanyahu propped up Hamas. Now it’s blown up in our faces: https://www.timesofisrael.com/for-years-netanyahu-propped-up-hamas-now-its-blown-up-in-our-faces/
  12. Of course they don't... in the vast majority of cases on this forum, you're the one hurling it! That it tends to happen just after your last claim crashed and burned... coincidence, obvs! 🤣 Eeek, sincere apologies... reposted.
  13. Have you ever managed to show, under even moderate scrutiny, that you're not always the monkey? 🙄
  14. UK’s failure to negotiate post-Brexit returns agreement is main reason for increase in asylum seekers making small boat crossings: https://www.ein.org.uk/news/academic-report-says-uks-failure-negotiate-post-brexit-returns-agreement-main-reason-increase
