  1. What’s that got to do with it, out of interest that’s all .
  2. Fond memories of my Bonneyville , Matchless G9 , Ariel Arrow , and last one my Honda CB 750 But still read the sports pages ,
  3. Or you have got the DCM , That’s what we said in the building trade when we got the sack on a Friday . And it’s got me thinking about the Owls players, most are out of contract in a couple of months , It seems as though no talks on renewing contracts or even offers are on the table , So are some of em thinking why should we bother ,why risk injury , why knacker my self up if the club is giving me the DCM in a few time any way . I mean look at Barry Bannon , he has run his blood to wattter for the Owls and over the last ten years and has become a adopted Sheffielder , So you would think that he would be offered a new contract even if it’s half of what he is on now , that at least would be start and he could plan for the future along with other good servants inc Palmer and a few others. The recent performance at Middlesbrough looked to me like a case of why bother??? .
  4. A little lass who lives near me in the very North of Sheffield has signed for United, The training pitch is at Jordonthorpe for some reason , She travels by bus to get there , 2 buses in fact then two back home , Her dad goes with her when he can , So what’s the !!!!!! All about , Some people do not have cars , Not every one lives at Dore . I have offered to take them when I can but it’s a treck even by car going through the nightmare of Woodseats and Penistone Road plus the cost of fuel , I have told her she should go and play for the Owls but with Arsenal and Man United sniffing around there is not much chance of that . Grass roots football is more important to kids than big time Charlie’s throwing there millions around to push them off well established facilities. Read A Christmas Carol Scroooge .
  5. There are to many people chasing housing and .medical treatment. It's not rocket science it's fact .
  6. A lot of grass roots kids now have no where to train and play . Some of so travel miles on buses to get there . Not handy for them . As to knocking the blades some one has mentioned. Middlewood Rovers accusing the Owls of kicking them out of their ground which is a made up story .
  7. There are to many people chasing housing, hospital treatments, Dr appointment s and so on , have you visited the accident and emergency at the local hospitals of late , hundreds sat there for hours on end , we are full up .
  8. First , That’s what I have done since being 15 years old , First it was the Sheffield morning Telegraph followed by the Star , I without fail read the back page first , It was compulsory to see the latest on the Owls ,United , Rotherham and Barnsley. This week I have realised I no longer bother, It’s not worth the doom and gloom . The excuses from managers , players and so on , it’s dismal, it’s depressing. The national press is obsessed with the big six so that’s a waste of time as well . Might as well take the dog out .
  9. Our kids and grand kids should get the first priority in obtaining a council property . Sadly it is not the case , Certain sections are considered priority so the long time citizens of this City who's family's have worked it's factory floors through generations are put to the back of the line . It stiinks.
  10. First game 1954 . Can't edit now so have to keep posting post after post it you miss something out ,daft that .
  11. Last three years non . But over 65 years of watching not missed many at both grounds. So done no time , what about you .
  12. All these clubs care about is their selves. What's happened to the so called family club 😇
