  2. We had letter in August and signs went up for them to do paths with no parking etc 1st to 7th September on the 7th it changed to 7th to 14th, we had a 2 week holiday booked from 14th so made arrangents for one of our cars to go in storage. We got back on 29th September the signs were gone. No work done whatsoever to paths or road and no explanation.
  3. They hit a water main, I thought it was supposed to be closed 24/7 due to the extent of resurfacing (as in they have to dig deeper than normal making it unsuitable for cars)
  4. It's in all the tabloids http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/lowcostholidays-customers-fury-hear-pitiful-8448488

  6. the resignation of Cameron, the vote of no confidence for Corbyn, we should now have a general election for a new government to steer us through the Brexit.
  7. Glad I bought some Budweiser with twist-off caps, they might be worth a few quid. ---------- Post added 24-06-2016 at 02:47 ---------- You might be in a win win situation there, if the result is remain then you'll earn a few quid. If it's leave your money won't be worth much so not too bad of a loss. WAOAW Come on England!
  8. Let's get one thing straight, there is no such thing as a bad pub, but there is a thing of a bad managed pub. It's a tricky situation when running a pub as a tennant as you are torn between paying extortionate rent and beer prices to sell on to the consumer. If you have the money behind you to take the loss in trying to make the pub good, by this I mean taking a stance on the crap that is inherited then you have a chance, if however you go in blind thinking you can do this without the security of money to out way sorting the problems then you find yourself in a difficult situation balancing the books. It can be a soul destroying job to a potential tenant who wants to make a living working long hours for less than the minimum wage. The blame relies on the local gangster who makes a venue intimidating to normal people who want to go for a drink and enjoy a night out This is when pubs get sold off and often become office developments or supermarkets. It ashame because every tenant, landlord or whatever you want to call it, do their very best to try and keep a pub as it as, as a pub. To anyone out there who has tried to run a pub but failed, you have my full respect for trying. It is not an easy job, and I know the hours put in returns very little and far under the minimum wage. as for my initial comment about a bad managed pub it is easier said than done, it needs structure and determination and of course support from the company and the customers, so if someone who has failed reading this apologies because I know you haven't had the support you needed in terms of rent and support.
  9. The new leisure centre at high green formerly pickwicks and before that called liberal club, they played there well before they hit the big time and locals thought they were crap.
  10. When i organise events I use a lady called Sharon from High Green her pie and peas are amazing, her number is 07949674646
  11. Well I'll be voting leave. One of the reasons being, that most if not all company's have to show equality, by that I mean they have to be seen employing foreign nationals, I believe that if someone born in our country applies for a vacancy for a job then that person should take priority over a foreign national. Simple as that!
  12. Yeah funny that sno will push for a second referendum for independence if the result in EU is leave so they can give their independence back to the EU.
  13. All the EU countries will still want to trade with us if we leave especially Germany with the amount of cars we import
