  1. Try Rotherham Piano Centre, they have a website and are on YouTube. We are off there today with my niece to get some stuff for her new keyboard. Also incorporates the Guitar and Drum centre - the guys are fantastic and I'm sure they will be able to advise and sort you out. It's outside of the town centre about 10 minutes from Meadowhall and parking no problem.
  2. Thank you, I dont do it but my friend has put on Facebook.
  3. I am posting this for a friend who is feeling devastated at the moment. Missing from Brinsworth (Century View/Boundary Walk area). Pedigree rag doll, male, only 3 months old, white, blue eyed, red tipped, wearing red collar with i.d. disc. Last seen in Century View at 3pm on Wednesday 18th November. Very sociable little cat. Hope this pic opens /Users/Trish/Desktop/fred.jpg
  4. Thanks all, yes phoned B.Gas and they are coming this week when we are in. Have had to turn all radiators off in the meantime. OH has checked up and it seems the system is not compatible with our boiler despite the fitter saying there was no problem, so £100 quid down the drain I think as we will have it taken out.
  5. Has anyone had this system installed which is controlled via program on laptop/mobile phone? Wonder if anyone else has had/is having problems. We had it installed in January but now, even though we have set the heating to 'Off' the radiators are belching out heat.
  6. Exhausted juv I think. Keeping left foot tucked up at moment.
  7. Bird at box now with some food but I can't tell which one it is. Update, must be an adult as now flown off with food.
  8. That's great to see; does anyone know what happened to chick 1 ?
  9. Mum just this minute brought fresh pigeon to box. I can hear the chick(s) skreaking but can't see them. She's flown off with pigeon now.
  10. Mum just been back to perch to say "come on now, fly", but chick screaming "I can't, I can't" !! I know, I'm nuts but addicted!
  11. One has left home! Apparently last seen on ledge by clock. Her sister has been screaming her head off. Not seen parents as yet.
  12. Never heard of this book so checked on Amazon and they have it. It is called 'Wincobank and Blackburn: A History of the Lower Blackburn Valley'. The ISBN is B00DNDJ10G. Priced at £12.50
  13. Has anyone else got them? My beautiful shaped box tree is totally infested with fluffy little balls, each contain a bright green caterpillar. Checked on web and identified as Asian moth caterpillars. Too many to pick off (literally thousands of them). Is it curtains for my tree or any suggestions gratefully received!
  14. Hi Billiethekim, only just found this thread. I spent some of my childhood in this area so interesting reading. I attach a link to Rotherham Images, page 'F'. Towards the bottom of this page are two photos of Blackburn Road which may jog your memory. Hope the link works! http://www.rotherham-images.co.uk/gallery-remembering.rotherham(f).htm
