the chimney can be taken out at different levels but the proper steel would have to be inserted to provide adequate support of the area above, building notice would have to be submitted to Sheff council and calculations on the steel provided, your builder should be able to sort you this out, it is a dirty job and its suprising how far dust can travel, using plastic sheeting to block up as many openings is useful. my son painter/decorator has just had to renew his again ,think it lasts for 5 years, he has also had to do a on line asbestos awareness test so he can go on site at a new job cost £33.00 to do on line and then print off certificate, its a multi question test you have to get a percentage right to past the test, it was laughable some of the questions were on the history of asbestos and he was able to google some answers on the computer whilst he was doing the test !!!!

we have stayed in the park inn in centre few times usually go for christmas market and its well located for all bars and shops but was getting a bit pricey as they had re-furbished it, so we tried the queens hotel this feb just for weekend away,its located on the opposite side to park inn and the hotel was lovely, great location near all bars . some of the write ups arent good but we thought it was great and will defo book there for christmas
