  1. Hi! I am in desperate need for three silver cross type prams! If anyone has know or knows of anyone who does that are for sale or rent that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  2. Hi, Yes that would be brilliant Thankyou
  3. Hello, I'm looking for a host for a Christmas meal in early December. I'm looking for a place that is reasonably priced to cheap with vegetarian and vegan options. Any suggestions would be fantastic and really help as I'm not to clued up with restaurants in the town centre (ish) area. Thanks in advanced
  4. There is also a Chinese restaurant on the moor called ZingVa that does buffet food on a Saturday as well as a regular menu.
  5. I'm taking my nan out tomorrow and I'm just wondering if people have any ideas on what to do. She is elderly and in a wheelchair but as long as there's access I'm happy pushing anywhere hilly or flat. Any ideas are welcome Thanks
  6. There also the Norton Show on the 10th August
  7. Just curious, (and I presume that people will give an argumentative response) but whilst you were counting 'all' the people in the café and noticing how 'packed' the park was whilst the 'car park was empty' did it cross your mind that there maybe people who live local to the park and (heaven forbid it) simply walked into the park (meaning no car necessary) Though this is just a suggestion . . .
  8. I understand that this thread has gone way past you commenting any more but it really infuriates me how you can have the brasness to talk like that. 'You don't need aggro' Stating that you parked in a disabled bay when neither party was disabled is outrageous1 I have a 91 year old nan in a wheelchair and it is so frustraiting when ignorant people 'who don't need aggro' park in a disabled parking bay so that when people who ACTUALLY need them are unable to do so. Instead struggling to get wheelchairs out of cars in small parking spaces so carefully so to not scratch the cars paint work next door. (Yes I understand that having a disabled badge doesn't mean you are in a hweelchair, its simply a personal experience) Also quite clearly it frequently states throughout Meadowhall carpark that this will happen if you park in undesignated areas, in disabled spots without a badge and so on and so forth. As someone who used to work there, we also had designated areas which if we did not park in this would also happen to. (annoying i know) but it is the same as the umpteenth thread on here you don't have to pay fines on private lands (maybe you should have checked those before psoting this to save yourself any aggro) Maybe next time you don't want any 'aggro' you should consider the 'aggro' you are putting others in by taking up a spot which doesn't need to be occupied by yourself.
  9. Coming from someone who has lived in both Leeds and sheffield I'd ohnestly say stick with Sheffield!! Honestly theres a lot more going on, walking wise theres a huge variety of parks to choose from as well as the peak district whichs is beautiful For night life theres loads of different places to go to depending on your music tastes, due to my interests I quite often go to things myself and from doing so I have met some amazing people Keep your chin up and focus on the positives (although I know it can be hard) Sheffield honestly has loads to offer
  10. Kings on Dixon Lane!!! Always plenty of everything on them and are gorgeous
  11. Hi all, I'm to the theatre for my 21st and then for something to eat, and I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere to eat in town. There's roughly about 35-40 of us and so I need somewhere that can house us all but is also reasonably price. I don't eat that much in town so my mind has gone blank. Thankyou in advanced
  12. I'm doing an artsy degree myself in Leeds but have had to move back to Sheffield due to costs. You will always get negative people on here so try not to let them bog you down to much. Sheffield has a really good arts scene, we have some really good projects to get involved with such as off the shelf as well as some really interesting art spaces with residencies on offer all the time. Try Banks street arts just for example. Also Leeds has a really good arts, live art etc scene and you will find loads of opportunities there. As part of my final year I've had to find a placement and I've been spoilt for choice in Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester alone. Honestly they are all really worth looking into and are great cities for 'The Arts', also none of them are really that bad I've been brought up around Manchester and surrounding areas due to family over there and I've never had any bother, so don't let such negative people put you off with stab stories and gang bother. Hope I've helped
  13. The nags head at castleton!! Is amazing. Me and my other half stayed their for our anniversary in July andit was lovely. Theres loads yummy pubs to choose from. You can explore the caves, and also the rooms hav four poster beds and a jacuzzi bath
  14. Chevys Driving School, She is an amazing driving instructor very patient, reasonable pricing. When I was learning I knew nothing about cars and she got me through my driving test. Would strongly recommend her
  15. I've been on two of these tours myself which as a result I ended up buying the book. They are really interesting and informative and enjoyable evening out. Both Jo and Mr Dreadful are great to talk to and more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Would strongly recommend
