  1. ..just had my first lesson with bill plant and i have to say twas brilliant!! Drove for about 40 minutes out of a 1 hour lesson, stopping and setting off along a long road, pulling up to kerb. was really good and the instructor is very professional, helpful, we have a laugh and isnt stroppy. he said brilliant first lesson. I highly recommend bill plant. although a lot of companies can have a couple of bad, stroppy instructors..maybe i fell lucky. oh and quite cheap aswell..first lesson free, then 14 quid for next four then 20.95 a lesson.
  2. Your water supply has absolutley nothing to do with your drains, unless they are situated close together outside and both have crack, penetrating your water supply (highly unlikley). I have white tap water at my house, do you have a combination boiler? the white colour is air bubbles if you have a combi, nothing to worry about. run the water a while or leave a glass of water standing and eventually you see the white disappear.
  3. http://http://www.national-lottery.co.uk/player/p/help/scratchcard/prizes.ftl this tells you remaining top prizes, of course 100k winners exist, and more. the cards are all checked when they leave the factory, they have individual serial numbers and are in rows and columns. go to georges cafe on yew lane, parsons cross...not so long ago a bloke ran in whod won 10k a month for a year.
  4. someone lost their life as a result of working on ladders, this is the reason for kiers ladder situation , my brother was telling me, do you feel happy with yourself now???
  5. paul12345678 its 78 pound a visit actually, you guys are a joke, sitting on here complaining about the workmen when its not their fault, why dont you try getting jobs yourselves instead of posting on here in the afternoon while everyone else is working. blame the council and management for placing restrictions on the workforce for what they can and cant do!!
  6. i saw the same thing last night (23/3/10), it was bright orange still for about 30 seconds then started moving quite fast in a straight line, i live near prince of wales road and it was moving towards stradbrooke?? anyone else see it last night around midnight??
  7. i did appear sorry but no such luck lol, and i agree tis me :)
  8. i wasnt driving if your refering to me, only 17 i was the passenger not started driving yet wise guy
  9. anyway ille not be stupid in future and check im wearing it properly, my opinion of the police in this country has changed dramatically and thanks everyone for replying with your views :), and thanks for advice rainbow sky and tis me, thanks for arguement snailyboy lol
  10. your not getting the point, i didnt mind being told i knew i was in the wrong it was the attitude and tone of voice the copper used, he wouldnt talk to his boss like that so what gives him the right???, i dont mind paying fine, its just with all the other worse crimes happing, especially in the area he pulled us, i though he would have just warned me, he could have wrecked my apprenticeship writing fines out for such a trivial thing, all those bums hanging on street corners, he wouldnt wreck their careers because they dont want a career, i contribute to society and deserve respect back.
  11. cyclone i never once talked back i talked to him with respect but from the moment i sat in police car he was rude and be-littled me, ive been brought up to show respect and i expected some back lol.
  12. its force of habit, its always irritated my neck so for about three years ive clicked it in then tucked it under my arm for comfort, i did do wrong and i admit that were only human, but where in a coppers job description does it say they can talk to you like crap???
  13. it would have still protected me exactly the same as it would above my arm, besides, the seatbelts in the middle seat of works van and in back of cars only go across you waste so surley if wearing it like i did was illegal then the middles seats of a car or van are illegal.
  14. what does everyone think to this hard working guy, on plumbing apprenticeship never done anything wrong, on way home in works van other day, copper pulled us i had my seatbelt under my arm istead of over it, it was all secure and on properly but the copper couldnt see it as the strap went under my arm so gave me a £60 fine, he was very rude and arrogent and wrote on the ticket no seatbelt when i was wearing one, might get into trouble at work now , yet i watched traffic cops last week where four youths were in a stolen car, no seatbelts and one had cannabis on him and all of them got away with a caution, its ridiculous he could have just warned me, and i cant risk going to court over it because i probably wont win and it could end up costing me more money and i dont get paid a lot as im only apprentice :(, i just have to pay it and let the copper get away with the way he treat me , i had a lot of respect for the police before this incident.
  15. theres a shop at handsworth on a backroad behind teh old norfolk arms its called fish inc i bought my tank from there its 4ft aquarium cam with everything, heater filter food water treatments and gravel for only 65 pounds:)
