Is Akbars still open? I go up & down Meadow Bank Rd to & from work and wonder if it's open because, to be honest it looks quite grotty & not well kept from the outside.

Hi, anyone playing Forza 7? I realise its not new anymore, I'm still running around in Forza6, which I do think is quite good. Just wondering is it worth upgrading? I know its 4K and all that jazz, but I dont have 4K telly or Xbox X, just the S.

Yes,I saw that too. Now bear this in mind, when in six months time stores are closed, staff laid off & he gets a multi-million pound pension. Will his singing come back to haunt him?

Well my vote would be for Beres, can't go wrong there ☺

Yes I remember those good little shops, especially the cheese shop. Do you also remember The Bakewell Pudding Shop? ☺

I think its a great idea and given a chance there's no reason it shouldn't work. Isn't the planet worth a little effort from us all.

Yes I agree, I've enjoyed his show the last two mornings. Get to listen to most of it before going to work.

The Abbey at Woodseats about to take a turn for the worse

Strongly disagree with that, don't judge us all the same. -
I've got in from work today to find the above left on my answer phone. Let's hope people don't fall for it!

It is a place I feel I should go to one day, sort of out of respect & understanding. A previous poster has said that it has become a tourist destination, with people taking selfies outside the 'famous' gates. I find that wrong, its just not that kind of place surely? Last year I read 'A Detail of History' by Arek Hersh. A very moving account of a little boy who survived the Holocaust. Worth reading.

Anybody watching the IKEA documentary on bbc2 "Flatpack Empire" ? Only watched first episode so far, quite interesting.

I'm guessing the controls are similar on PS4 as on Xbox. I use the right thumb stick, push it forward to thrust down & pull it back to thrust up. This can be reversed in settings. Hope that helps Mel.

Yes Mel, I'd agree with you there. I bought it a while back too, but on Xbox One. The controls are a bit tricky at first to get used to. Bit of a learning curve! Try playing through the tutorials first, this should help.
