I personally wouldn't use a Julius K9 harness as it straps across the shoulders and restricts movement - potentially causing damage later in life. Look out for Y shaped harnesses such as Perfect Fit, Ruffwear and Truelove.

Hi Gemma I am based in Hillsborough and offer dog sitting. I'm sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience with a sitter. Take a look at my facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/Sheffield-Pet-Care-207303949873114/ - I've only been running since May but have had some great feedback. Do get in touch if you'd like any more info. Cheers

I'm sorry, but i find it really concerning that a home checker for a rescue could be so wrong on this point. These gentle souls struggle to find homes as it is without rescues reinforcing the stereotype that greys are dangerous dogs.

As a greyhound owner and professional dog walker, I'd be very interested in where this law you refer is! It's the first time I've heard such a thing. Our rescue greys are extremely placid, small dog-friendly and will lap up two hour walks come rain or shine. EUCLID11 Please do take a look at GRSY if you're seriously considering rehoming one of these majestical dogs! They're a small rescue run solely by unpaid volunteers who have put their heart and soul into saving as many greys as they can. https://www.grsy.co.uk/

Did you really just say sausage cottage?! -
Try a julienne peeler - MUCH cheaper! It's what I regularly use. http://www.uberchefkitchenware.com/product/julienne-vegetable-peeler/

Has your friend considered a cat sitter? Depending on where your friend is located I would be able to pop in for feeds/play/litter tray cleaning etc. I'm fully insured, have a clear DBS check and have completed a pet first aid course. Take a look at my website for further info and contact details. Thanks!

Oh excellent! I'd been hoping that this would get approved - it will be a great addition for us! Belperite - it's going to be on Middlewood Road - opposite the park.

Dog Walker in Walkley area (spaces available)
Claret replied to fletcher99's topic in Sheffield Pet Owners
Hi there. I don't mean to be rude and jump onto someone else's post but as fletcher99 hasn't posted on the forum in about a year, I hope that nobody minds in this instance! I have recently set up a dog walking and pet sitting business and I have availability in Walkley. Take a look at my website for details of my services and to contact me. Many thanks Clare http://sheffieldpetcare.co.uk/ -

But why wouldn't you? They're ace company and love being with us. To me, it makes no sense to leave them at home!
