Sheffield to get a Herd of Elephants
jessycar replied to Vaati's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
It's a lovely idea but I don't think it is... "The coat of arms is based on that of the London cutlers. Cross daggers signify cutlery, the elephant for ivory and the band of green from the Sheffield coat of arms." http://www.cutlers-hallamshire.org.uk/history/a-to-z -

I was just about to recommend Blue Flamingo. Diane is making my cake. She is lovely, really helpful, her cheesecakes taste amazing and is extremely reasonable in price -
http://www.tombramwell.co.uk is worth a look Provides a DVD of images and offers albums.

I would have a read on here before you commit. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=2212273&page=1 Some people have great experiences ordering from China, others have a disaster.

We are holding our reception at Townfield Barn in Shatton near Hathersage. It's not licenced, so we are getting married in a nearby church. Woodlane Country Side Centre allows you to have marquees. It's in Stannington but still gives off a country side feel. I came across Hargate Hall when I was searching for us too.

Unusual and quirky ideas for wedding centrepieces

I love the idea of retro board games! I saw a couple of these at Hope Car Boot on Sunday and felt a bit nostalgic. Don't forget Screwball Scramble! -
Try Otto's on Sharrowvale Road, just behind Ecclesall Road. It's a Moroccan restaurant. They cater for many numerous diets, food is amazing, especially the desserts, the staff are wonderful and it's BYO if you wish or licenced. No, I don't work for them just a big fan. http://www.ottosrestaurant.co.uk/

Millenium Galleries? Plenty of hotels in the area and wheel chair friendly. It's a white canvas that you can make your own

Pretty sure Ascot Marquees is who Shatton recommend.
