  1. I worked at Bennett's College from 1944 to 1946 and have a photo of some of the staff working there at the time It was situated on Melboune Ave., off Glossop Rd, Broomhill. It was a very large house. I remember it had an impressive entrance hall with a grand staircase but we staff had to use the Tradesmen's entrance on the side of the building.
  2. Try Sheffield Indexers for help tracing Sheffield ancesters and good luck
  3. I remember a bloke named Graham who had horses down Waverly Lane. That's where my daughter started years ago. She went every Sunday and still rides when she can at Clough Farm, Crosspool.
  4. Hi Jim The house in question was a warehouse for soft drinks and crisps but it is still empty and getting more run down year by year. Cant remember the name of the company but it was a Mc something. Hope this help.
