  1. Saw him yesterday so I know he's around but I seem to remember him saying he's cutting right back with a view to retiring Might be worth giving him a call though
  2. We've lived on the estate for 8 years now. Very quiet and no trouble
  3. Same here. Nothing but good to say about them Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  4. I think I am correct in saying you can go in to a bus lane to pass a vehicle turning right so you need not be paranoid. That is incorrect. Highway Code rule 165 Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  5. If you read the road signs properly, the bus lane only operates during the rush hour. Outside the times stated on the signage, just use the left hand lane. Having said that, I agree that during rush hour, it will make things difficult. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  6. That is correct. And it has to be three CLEAR working days, which given that we've got New Years Day this week (which isn't a working day), unless the test is on Saturday, then I'm afraid it looks like the thief has cost you another £62. The Driving Standards Agency don't accept any excuses. No licence = no test. It's no use ringing the local test centre, they can't do anything. Try ringing the national booking centre on 0300 200 1122 but they are usually quite rigid in their stance
  7. Depends what you're looking for. This is my daughter's website http://sarahsmithartwork.weebly.com/artwork.html
  8. Why on earth wouldn't they charge? They're providing a service for you - it's not part of the NHS!
  9. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android ---------- Post added 22-09-2013 at 18:48 ---------- oops! A bit previous there! Just to clarify, all Approved Driving Instructors MUST display their green authorising Certificate (commonly known as a badge) in the windscreen of their vehicle whilst they are giving lessons. If you can't see one, then ask where it is. If they can't produce one, they are teaching you illegally Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  10. Tomorrow sees the start of the ice hockey season and if you're free and fancy a good game, this is the one to see. The Bradfield Brewery Sheffield Steeldogs complete their preparation for the 2013/14 EPL season with the traditional “War of the Roses” clash with the Manchester Phoenix. These games are usually exciting, physical encounters and following the Dogs victory last season, Andre and the team are determined to hang on to the trophy. The action starts at iceSheffield at 7.30pm. Manchester usually bring a large following support so get there early! Admission £9 adults, discounts for kids. Bar and food available
  11. Try Jon Hardy on 07773 013695. And in responses to the_rudeboy, do the refresher lessons in your own car Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
