  1. Either the registry office in town or have a look at https://www.gov.uk/order-copy-birth-death-marriage-certificate.
  2. To be a lion tamer (aged 4) or an olympic ice skater or gymnast ... As you can probably guess I'm none of these things, haha!!!
  3. My Astra used to do this but it was the engine warning light that would come on. The light would come on sometimes and just go off again, but on numerous occasions the car would cut out. If I was driving at a reasonable speed it would just kick into action again but if I was going fairly slow I would have to restart the engine myself. This became particularly troublesome at roundabouts! We also took ours to a garage who found nothing wrong (seems like a common theme with Astras maybe). The problem went away after a few months thankfully. We have a Saab now, bring back the Astra I say for the about of problems the Saab has caused!
  4. Yes I agree, Godfather Pizza is pretty good and their delivery area is quite wide (Tel. 0114 243 4247). If you don't have cash on you when ordering, as I frequently don't seem to, you can place your order with them through justeat.co.uk, but beware of the 50p charge for card payments.
  5. I'm sorry to hear about the problems your Dad has had following the flu vaccination. Most people (myself included) however, have no adverse reactions like this thankfully. My arm always gets sore and itchy for about a week afterwards that's all. As with any vaccination or medicine there will always be a small minority who have bad reactions to it. I have asthma so the flu vaccination is crucial for me (and I have had flu once which I really would not like to repeat if possible). On the whole the benefit from vaccinations far out way the risks. You could contact the distributer of the vaccinations and get your Dad's side effects listed, it's always useful as a patient to know of every possible symptom that has occurred following use whether frequently or infrequently. I hope your Dad gets better soon!
  6. That nutmeg is poisonous if injected? Or that ...
  7. Brilliant, thank you so much, I'm totally doing this tomorrow!
  8. My Survey as Matthewluck said are good. Also try: valuedopionions.co.uk and honestrewardspanel.co.uk. I think these are the correct addresses, if not just Google them and it will come up with them for you. My Survey and Valued Opinions give you vouchers (codes sent by email in multiples of £10), it is easy enough to get a payment every couple of months. Honest Rewards Panel credit your PayPal account when you have at least £15, their surveys seem to pay a bit more so again every couple of months. Surveys from all are usually between 5-20 minutes long. You do not make loads of money, but it's enough to get a birthday present for someone or simply treat yourself!
  9. I really don't think they should be cutting down on these services, they are essential to us all. The council will end up paying more money out in the long run cleaning up all the fly-tipped rubbish from around the city. However, I'm not totally happy with the service they offer though whether hours are reduced or not. Recently some kind soul dumped a car tyre outside my house. Like a good Sheffield Citizen I took it along to the tip and they refused to take it. I told them it wasn't even my tyre it had been fly-tipped outside my house ... but they still wouldn't take it. They directed me to somewhere on Stevenson Road (that I struggled to find and then couldn't even get inside) ... What a joke! I think they should take things like this when a person has gone to the trouble to bring them in (and they did not belong to them in the first place). Anyway, sorry I have ranted a little. Does anyone please have any ideas on what I can do with this tyre (apart from fly-tip it somewhere else)? Thanks!
  10. You can also get your dentist to refer to to the dental hospital if you would prefer to be treated there. In the meantime, for emergencies this is on the NHS website: If you need urgent dental treatment ring the Urgent Dental Care line on 0844 736 8440. The Urgent Dental Care line is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for both adults and children. You'll be assessed over the phone and if you require urgent treatment you may be offered an appointment at the Dental Urgent Care Centre. Appointments are available 365 days a year, usually between 8:30am and 8:30pm. Good luck, hope they are helpful!
  11. I absolutely adore anything zombie related. My all time favourite zombie flick has to be the original Dawn of the Dead where they are all trapped in the shopping centre (or mall as I believe they call it) ... I also regularly have zombie related nightmares ... Hopefully I just watch too much zombie stuff and they're not trying to tell me something ominous!
  12. I'm in Wincobank too (S9) and we had very dirty water last night too. Seems to be ok this morning (but I'll be keeping a close eye on it). We phoned Yorkshire Water last night and were told it "should" be fine to drink as it is "treated" water (Mmm, I think not personally). Apparently if you let it settle you can pour off the clean water from the top to use... When I let some settle in a glass I can honestly say I did not fancy drinking the distinctly dark yellow stuff at the top!
  13. Not my idea of relaxation I'm afraid, give me nice meal to cook or a good book to read any day, but not the ironing. My children just seem to have so many silly creased up frilly things that I just can't cope with it! I'll share the pride of a nice sparkling bathroom with you though and I have to say far less intensive than the ironing!
  14. I didn't realise this was exclusive to nurses, as far as I am aware most jobs pay more down south ...
  15. It seems I can't even spell tonight either , let alone enjoy the ironing, sorry!
