  1. If you help me unload 6 pallets of bricks this week I have 10 you can have.
  2. Waterside gardens. Your right this did flood, but I was referring to forge lane (opposite the park across the river)
  3. The Park flooded, but not the housing estate built opposite the park as mentioned by the other poster. Not in the 13 years I lived there anyway.
  4. The river level in Oughtibridge has fallen 90cm since its peak last night. So the risk has passed. I blame Donald Trump
  5. It depends which way the sound is going. Like I say they hold it in the bomb hole. The one to the right of the car park as you enter.
  6. It's not in Oughtibridge, it's usually held in the bomb hole near the car park at grenoside woods car park. I've seen them still partying early in the morning when I have been mountain biking before. It was still going 20m ago.
  7. Your way too busy for those celebratory occasions!! Your too busy on the forums complaining about them
  8. Your right, murder and fireworks have to be stopped!!
  9. The Firework/bonfire night season has been going for longer than you and I have been alive. Surely by now you have learned what to expect around this time?
  10. I live in Oughtibridge (owner of 2 dogs) and went last night. Wow, it was fantastic to see such a great turn out to support the local community event. The majority of the people were young local families. I can't see why 1 x 15minute display is an issue and people can't just suck it up. I bet those complaining are the same that complain there is no community any more. I even commentated to one of my many neighbours who attended how fireworks are not as loud as they used to be, (hoping for some biggies). On leaving the event there were many happy faces and a real buzz and hope this becomes an annual event. (Maybe if you visited yourself, you would of experienced how positive the occasion was for Oughtibridge) Word of warning, if you don't like community occasions, stay well clear of Oughtibridge for the Tour de France, it's going to be massive!!
  11. They should look into how they make the tram tracks safer for cyclists. Especially around platforms where they often force the cyclist to cross the tracks. I know to hand at least 5 people who have ended up in hospital because of the tracks.
  12. Hi, I have been to meadowhall this morning with my 18 month old daughter. Whilst in H&M my dearest daughter decided to drop her beloved bunny whilst I was pushing her. I scoured the shop for 25min but to no joy. I was hoping as a last ditch effort someone's may have found and handed in. I have left phone numbers with all stores and contact lost property again this evening. If anyone does know anything, please PM me. It was a brown (beige) jelly cat rabbit which was much loved. Thanks
