Hmm, just looked at the Sheffield Conservative party web site and they haven't got a manifesto either. Don't these people have any policies?

Is it just me? I can't actually find anything on the labour party website Wanted to read their local election manifesto but it comes up blank. Not very impressive a week before the elections.

Ooh Postal votes .Now that is open to allsorts of wrong doing.

I do find it odd the so many people will believe that this bloke is a man of the people Privately educated, son of a stockbroker, ex city trader .Gets himself photographed holding a pint and we are supposed to believe he is the salt of the earth. Is it because he looks like a character from the Simpsons? The man is a living lie.

Thankyou for this . It is not really a local manifesto though is it.Don't see what Sheffield council can do about immigration. It is so vague as to be almost meaningless.

I haven't read all this thread so forgive me if I have missed it but I can't find a local manifesto on their website . Why would anyone vote for a party without any policies. There are no links on their national website?????

I also think that the management have a divide and rule tactic so that staff don't dare to support each other. They tend to manage by formula which fails to take individual circumstances into account. they follow the procedures so that makes it ok.

That is what I am trying to gather. Hence the question.

I was thinking of staff being bullied by other staff and the incidence of institutional bullying.

I am becoming concerned at the incidence of alleged bullying within Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.I was wondering is this is just my experience or is this endemic ?

Well my old dog is now 17 and still wears his bio flow collar. His arthritis is still under control and despite his age has very little stiffness. We got one for our other elderly dog (aged 16) when she started with arthritis and her symptoms were noticably improved.That was the vet's opinion too.

If you are referring to my post then you could be mistaken. Sex with someone who lacks the capacity to consent can and probably would be, viewed as rape.

People who have a learning disability are not barred from having sex . However, if they lack capacity to understand what they are doing or to give consent , then the person they are having sex with could be deemed to be comitting an offence.

Even if you have ID they don't always serve you . My 25 year old was refused in Tescos last week .Having shown her ID they said they could not let her buy drink as her 28 year old companion( who has a beard and looks his age)did not have his on him. She now shops at Morrisons.

I believe staff have come up with some innovative ideas in the past but they have fallen on deaf ears.
