I looked on here for some one to replace my blown down fence . Kmajor came round and did the job last Wednesday . I'm very pleased with the finished fence . He was here at 9am and job done by 1pm I've now got a fence that looks good and I don't think it will ever blow down again . This forum can be useful ....Eh

Oh dear . I've just read this thread , it's upsetting but so predictable . I took my dog ( border collie cross ) to an agility training class . The Instructor checked my dog out and said that she would be able to do it . Then He told me that He was not training the dog , he was training me . He qualified this by saying " 99% of the the time the dog is clever (gentle , pliable etc) enough but .. "stupidity runs down the lead" . He was telling that how I treat my dog will reflect how my dog behaves

If you buy cheap boots and socks you will get blisters . Do some research on this interweb thingy , all by yourself

Why don't you spend 40 pounds on a pair off boots , if they are not good enough , buy a better pair . Learn by your own experience . ?

Teenagers take the ???? . I think we all did at that age , they need their parents help and advice if they are going to be out alone after dark . Pensioners who have left their pass at home do not ask the driver for a free ride , they just offer to pay .

And yes . Mr Draggletail . Your friend really did send some bad starter motors to them . However they fixed them very quickly

We could try the idea that has been tried in Holland . Remove all street signs and traffic lights, make the pavement the same level as the road . This would mean that motorists would be very careful . I also think that the the pedestrians would be more careful ??

And , scuse me . Mr /Mrs 0742 sheff . Why would you let two young girls get on a tram without enough money ( 50p if they have a pass ) in the first place . Would you expect them to tell the conductor to " get lost " and issue them with a penalty notice that they will ignore ? If you cannot afford to pay you need to walk , that is easy to understand . Most adults go to work to earn money , children cannot go to work so they need their parents to give them their tram fare
