  1. Looking for a good drummer to record an original song with. Age not important, but you should've been playing a few years and be able to play simple, good stuff. I'm 34 and played in a few bands, but not done much for past five years. We'll rehearse a couple of times then book a studio to record guitar, drums and vocals. I'll finish the recording at home. If you can sing a bit too that would be cool. Aim is to make a good record just for fun, then see what that leads to. Can send a demo of the song to good-sounding people. PM me if interested and let me know what kind of music you like - preferably not rock like Foo Fighters etc.
  2. I think this is a good idea. The hardest part will be finding staff that can make the experience good. Maybe you should consider having some male staff (butlers? ) as well as the maids. That way you might appeal to more people and avoid a creepy atmosphere! Plus if it's all maids you're bound to get people saying it's sexist/pervy etc.
  3. PlayStation's graphics processor is also said to be about 50% more powerful, so it should have a clear advantage there. I'll be going with PS4 this time. Microsoft's whole approach with Kinect and the TV stuff (which probably won't work here), plus their original ideas about second hand games, has put me right off.
  4. Fair play. I must just like boss fights. Even the frustrating ones, I like the challenge and it's satisfying when you finally beat them. Always loved seeing the designs of big boss monsters as well, to me that's part of the reward for getting to the end of a level.
  5. TeaFan, maybe you should give some examples of the boss fights you didn't like. Many games have amazing boss fights, like Resident Evil 4 and Bayonetta. They're a special challenge and add diversity to the gameplay. top4718, if you just want to be able to walk straight through a game then you must enjoy them in a different way to me. I recommend you try Kirby's Epic Yarn
  6. I had the original MvC3 on 360 for a while, but I don't have the console anymore. Was considering Ultimate for the PS3 but it's still a bit pricey! Good game though yeah. Still prefer Super SF4.
  7. That is a good website, but these were four unusual looking planes all flying fairly close to one another and all in roughly the same direction. This was out of the ordinary. I'm not trying to spin a story here, I just wondered if anyone else saw them. I don't believe it's aliens or anything, probably just a test of some new type of aircraft.
  8. Don't think so angel22, they were travelling west towards the Peak District. Waddington is east.
  9. Their appearance alone suggested they weren't ordinary planes. I wish I could've gotten a decent picture. I've seen a lot of planes in the sky and these were different. They moved in a strange way, as if their direction was affected by the wind. They were very bright white. Maybe they were unmanned drones, I don't know. Just wanted to know if anyone else saw them.
  10. I just saw 4 weird aeroplanes flying over Crookes and I wonder if anyone else saw them. They were pure white, almost like they were paper cut-outs. They left no vapour trail and were silent. They seemed to be pretty high in the sky and were travelling about as fast as a regular plane, so they probably weren't gliders. Anyone else see them or know what they are? This thread I found describes a similar spotting over Galway in Ireland: http://www.alienexistence.com/index.php?topic=1279.0. Although the ones I saw clearly had wings. EDIT - By the way I did take pics with my phone but the planes just look like white dots.
  11. Me and my wife are both registered at this place. All the staff are so friendly and the hygienist is amazing. Best dentist I've ever been to by a mile
  12. My blog is days old. All I wanted to do was jump-start a feeling of community on there, and help others do the same on their own blogs. Any back-links created would do more good than harm. And as I said in the original post, there are other useful ways to team up in online marketing. If anyone is interested, PM me.
  13. All good information there, thanks indizine. I suppose I did over-simplify and exaggerate the benefits in the original post.
  14. I'm not suggesting it's "that simple". I'm just suggesting an easy bit of action that could, and probably will, help. Suppose the aim of your site is to generate business in Sheffield. Links back from other websites that share the keyword "Sheffield" are about as useful as you're going to get, right? I'm guessing you'd agree, judging by your signature
