  3. Thankyou for the good feedback from your waxing treatments. I specialised in the waxing 3 years ago and was based down at Therapy on Woodseats. I moved up to the Sheffield Park Hotel at Meadowhead in March this year. Easier for my clients as it's got loads of free parking so no fighting for a space!! I've got a salon tucked away discreetly inside the hotel near the Revive leisure facilities so if you're a bit nervous-no one needs to know where you're going!! lol! For our disabled clients we even have a disabled lift which delivers you almost to the door! Don't be put off by the fact we're inside a hotel, all the prices are the same as they were down at Woodseats. We do loads of other reasonably priced treatments-nice ones! Spa Days, Elemis face and body treatments, Traditional Hot Shaves, Nails, Bridal make up and hair to name but a few and you're more than welcome to come for a nosey. Give us a call if you've got a question on 0114 2828290 http://www.Aboveandbeyondtherapy.co.uk
  4. Thankyou for your help!! :-) The full treatment list is available online on the website (see previous post to yours!!) with all my contact details on and if you're unsure of what might suit then just give me a call, I'm there 9-9 mon-fri,9-5 Sat and 10-3 Sun. Bit of a glutton for punishment but I love what I do. thanks again. Emma
  5. Thankyou again for your answers unfortunately it won't let me PM anyone back at the moment as I don't have enough posts!! Ferreter my email address is info@Aboveandbeyondtherapy.co.uk thanks Emma
  6. Thank you so much for your speedy answers!! My couch is coming on Friday so I will be able to offer the beauty treatments. The hoist to get a wheelchair user into the pool is something i will keep going with. there is a ramp down to the pool edge but it would need probably a carer who could aid a wheelchair user out of the chair onto the side and then into the pool. Anyone who would like further information then please PM me and I will let you know my location. Thanks again Emma
  7. I have just taken over a salon within a 4 star hotel in Sheffield 8 area and wanted to know as I have the facilities eg: disabled lifts, doors wide enough and all on one level and hydraulic couches which can be reduced in height for a wheelchair user to get onto and then increased to be worked on by a therapist. Would this be of interest to a disabled client? If there was a hoist to get the person into the pool facilities they would be able to enjoy the spa packages-is this something that again would be of interest? I'm asking because I don't know the answer-to me it seems a fab idea as i've never seen any salon offer any facilities to disabled clients who wanted beauty or holistic treatments as they're usually stuck above hairdressers or the couches are a set height. I presume that you would all like to be pampered just like I do-when I get chance that is!! Is there any associations where I could find out the answers to, maybe specialist holiday companies, social associations? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
