  1. yes i do lady called lauren. shes fab!!! also does lash extensions http://www.bridalcreative.co.uk/
  2. I didnt realise I wasnt allowed to advise someone if theres a health risk involved. I saw this post a few days ago, went on woodseats yesterday saw the name of the place and remembered no one had replied to this persons post, I also noted they were using electric drills. Yeah I do nails for a living is that a crime, I know what Im talking about so why cant I pre-warn someone and save the pain and damage to their nails? Im not advertising! Jeez I remember why I avoid posting on here, people like you!!
  3. Diamond Nails - but they appear to use Nail Drills on natural nails. Which is a huge no no if you actually value the health of your nails.
  4. Does anyone know of a shop that sells this at all having a nightmare trying to find some. Id prefer to go and buy it rather then order it online. Thanks in advance
  5. Since the other thread this was posted on was removed, with my original post and the OP confirming this was not Nail_LAB i'd like to just clarify again this is not Nail_LAB we advertise Harmony products and use them, and are a professional ligit business.
  6. I would love to help out if, i can donate free treatment for the raffle and also a stall on the day??
  7. i dont know any one in sheffield that does 3d brows but they look amazing. 3d and hd are 2 completely different treatments 3d is tattooed.
  8. I re-edited my post as you wrote urs as my mum has an allergy to them and only had them done by me for the first time in years last year and she just had an instant reaction to them due to allergy her fingers tips reddened and swelled and she also got numbness down her arm. if thats the case im sorry that you were unknownly put around MMA its very upsetting and alarming that so called professional technicians are using this product as it is banned in america australia and a number of other countries i just wish the UK would hurry up and do the same!
  9. i certainly don't use MMA!! Not shouting at you btw! and there are a number of places that don't, normally tell tale signs are when the products are in un labelled jars and theres no advert or mention or the brand of products used. The correct liquid that should be used for acrylic nails is EMA (which i think you may have got mixed up on as its just a letter different but it does make a huge difference) salons will not admit to using MMA as they know they shouldnt so unless you have been told its MMA i think there may be a bit of confusion hun, it is possible to develop allergies to EMA, just like anything you have bad over exposure to, but MMA and EMA are 2 completely different things MMA is ridiculously cheap to buy which is why a number of salons will buy it as all there interested in is making money and arent worried about the health and wellbeing of their clients, but obviously clients arent aware of this happening. MMA is usually used for bone grafts and in some instances an added agent in concrete mix it doesnt bond well to tissue (nail is tissue) electric files are used and heavily abuse and damage the natural nail plate to create a rough un even surface causing thinness to the natural nail that allows the MMA to adhere to the nail. Electric files are usually only meant to be used on actual acrylic nail not the natural nail. U won't find many professional technicians using them on natural nails. Sorry to hear you have developed this allergy but its only in some cases down to the products themselves, but normally its down to miss use of it, people have to be very careful with where they go for their nails theres not enough awareness about this, end of the day these are chemicals that are being used. But yet people are willing to let unexperienced and uneducated people put these chemicals on them all in order to get cheap nails. (not saying this is what you have done) I have read the previous threads about ur dermatitis and Laura16 helped you immensely Doug Schoon is a very well respected and trusted individual within the nail industry. Unfortunately it is one of those things my mum has an allergy to acrylates so she cant have anything on just normal polishes, hope your hands have improved and are better.
  10. very interesting article in the Daily Mail that i thought was worth reading for anyone who has nails done. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2141298/How-following-celeb-trend-falsies-seriously-damage-natural-nails.html
  11. these 2 girls amazing, they've got a 1950's inspired wedding later this year and they just did the trials the pictures i saw were amazing! there both professional lovely girls with lots of experience! http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Hair-Make-Up-by-Louise-Lauren/299202346763176
  12. cant agree more its people that turn dogs vicious, my staffy is 9 now still full of energy but soft as a brush loves kids people and having a good fuss, cant agree more very very loyal dogs, its so upsetting the amount of this particular breed that are impounded and worse being put down. i personally think people should be vetted and have to gain a license to have dogs!
  13. hi try these 2 girls not sure if they have the date ur after but there fab at what they do!! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hair-Make-Up-by-Louise-Lauren/299202346763176?sk=info#!/pages/Hair-Make-Up-by-Louise-Lauren/299202346763176 I also provide mobile nails and tanning and do a fair bit of wedding work so please feel free to have a look at the website on my signature.
