  2. Can anyone recommend someone to remodel a bathroom at a reasonable price. The current bathroom needs gutting and and then remodelling. Thx!
  3. I would like to recommend Andy from Rudplast if anyone needs any rendering/plastering work doing. He did a rendering job for me yesterday and I'm delighted with it. Very reasonable and professional too. He also cleans up at the end which is very rare these days!
  4. I'm in need of my garden preparing for turf to be laid. The garden is about 60ft in length and 20 ft wide. Can anyone recommend someone who is reasonable and has the expertise for the job. Thx!
  5. Contact me and I can let you know how I went about this when I fitted a RSJ.
  6. Paddy. Some people have gone to the Police and told them who the arsonists are. They have then had their own vehicles torched once the arsonists found out they have informed the Police. The car that was torched tonight has been used night after night for the past few weeks by these arsonists, who buys the cars, don't tax or test them, joyride in them and then torch them. They then buy another cheap car and do the same. They park them in unused local Council garages on the estate and the Police unwittingly drive straight past them! Incredibly, tonight they torched the car and were then joyriding in another car just 45 mins later. They were screeching around Foxhill estate just a few hundred yards from the burnt out car. I'm no detective, but why were the Police not still in the area looking for the arsonists/Joyriders? It reflects that lack of importance the Police are giving to the matter. Can you imagine if 32 vehicles were burnt out in Dore or Totley? Me neither because it wouldn't be allowed to happen!
  7. Yet another car burnt out this evening in Foxhill. That brings the total to around 32 now yes 32. Soon afterwards another car was being driven around the estate at 60 mph by joyriders. Can't see any smoke yet or news of a killed pedestrian but it won't but be long that's for sure. Imagine if we had a Police force who could patrol Foxhill and actually catch these low life's. I'm off to bed now to watch wacky races from my bedroom window!
  8. Anyone know what's going on, on the a Foxhill estate? The Police have been constantly driving around in a number of cars. Hopefully they can catch the joyriders plaguing the area. Apparently they steal cars and hide them in the Council garages on the estate until the Police have gone, and then carry on causing mayhem!
  9. I couldn't agree with you more Roe. I have Coached football for over 30 years and it's ridiculous putting kids in teams so young. I didn't play in a team until I was 13 and I no Coaching until that point. I played semi pro too, so these Coaches who are lining their pockets at the hands of gullible parents need a reality check!
  10. It must be really difficult for the Police to catch the arsonist/s. All the fires attacks seem to happen between 12-3am and all within a quarter of a mile of each other! Maybe black adders Lord Melchiot should be tasked with catching these low life's. He certainly couldn't do any worse than the Police. It seems that the Police are happy being reactive and letting the arson attacks continue. They have been going on for over four years so clearly the Police ain't bothered or are incompetent. One thing is for sure, the good people of Foxhill have been badly let down and deserve much better!
  11. 100% cowards who would run a mile if you walked up to them!
  12. They are nothing but cowards. Operating in the early hours doing their evil deeds. When they do get caught I hope they go down for a long long time!
  13. I'm no Poirot but being as these arson attacks between midnight and 3am, could the Police not deploy officers to Foxhill during those hours? They seem to be incredibly reactive rather than proactive! What's laughable is the constant quote from South Yorkshire Fire Service stating "We take arson attacks extremely seriously". If so, why have these arsonists been allowed to torch 26 vehicles?
  14. Read in this newspaper yesterday that 26 vehicles were torched on the Foxhill estate in the past year! What kind of Police do we have in this Country when this is allowed to continue? That is an incredible number of vehicles and will have caused considerable stress to the owners. I'm sure they are all having to pay higher premiums too!
  15. Yet another car was torched on Foxhill Crescent a week ago. The area has had around 30 cars torched in the past couple of years and still no one has been caught. Do we actually have a Police force in this City? How on earth can so many vehicles be torched without anyone being caught?
