  1. yes went there from 71 til 73 good memories on the whole, good school and still is, i managed to get my eldest in as well but couldnt get my youngest in.
  2. do you not think its a good idea to listen to interviews with ex staff about the inside workings of this charity and the police investigations that are ongoing? clearly not. http://www.theguardian.com/society/2015/aug/06/kids-company-directors-were-warned-to-build-up-reserves http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/kids-company-camila-batmanghelidjh-charity-founder-denies-it-mishandled-sexual-assault-allegations-of-children-using-its-services-10444798.html
  3. its a bit like the emperors new clothes this story, everyone inside the charity could see what was happening it seems but ignored it, the misappropriation of funds was colossal , i heard yesterday on radio2 jeremy vine show about the amounts of cash being given out willy nilly to "kids" well young adults really 20 + years anything from £30 per week to over £100. i bet they will be marching? complaining why they havent got anyone to give them free money anymore.....oh hang on wait yes they do:suspect:
  4. really?? typical!! who would have thought you would have been a defender of this:roll: a little hypocritical to give out insults when you complain about insults:suspect: ---------- Post added 07-08-2015 at 13:18 ---------- neither do yours in some peoples opinion:gag:
  5. and its usually the truth that some dont want people to hear about:roll: ---------- Post added 07-08-2015 at 12:44 ---------- dressing like an clown and pretending to be trendy with the outlandish clothes didnt do her credibility much good either, same for another trustee Alan Yentob, he looks like a tramp and i thought he was supposed to be running the BBC? or was that not enough for him
  6. seriously although the intentions were obviously the best is it wise to really give out millions willy nilly to charities that are not answerable to anyone, this women who ran this charity has lost, misappropriated, wasted over £7.5m since april, some of which was specifically given and not to be used in the day to day expenses??.......apparently immediately 800k went on paying wages and consultants!! apart from the police investigations how much worse can it get. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3185576/Crisis-stricken-Kids-Company-close-Charity-cease-activities-tonight-following-claims-financial-impropriety-sexual-abuse.html
  7. oh dear have just watched this programme on catch up i am surprised the men could raise their little finger never mind anything else:gag: shows the city in a great light eh? was worth watching for the comedy value:hihi:
  8. are these the same Afghan civilians that produce most of the worlds poppy harvest????:suspect:
  9. actually thats exactly what we should do to address some of this countries problems, anyone who is innocent or not illegal wouldn't have a problem?
  10. what about all the peoples holidays that have been ruined having to wait around for the tunnel? the lorry drivers that may lose contracts? the locals having to put up with the influx of illegals?? you dont really care do you? no thought not:roll: same as we dont really care about these immigrants:o
  11. you, me and others have asked similar questions of the halibut, but we never get a credible answer! i suspect we never will:roll:
  12. all very laudable Halibut and what exactly do you do to make their life better?offering accommodation at your home? food from your cupboard? why are you not in Calais giving a a helping hand? Zamo, myself and others work damn hard and have to pay taxes to support these swarms of overseas migrants illegal and refugee asylum seekers, we have more than enough now it must stop, the world is a cruel place some people will always have nothing and some will be better off its how the world works:roll:
  13. apologies for late reply but had a "forced break" from posting, apparently i was being racist if thats how it came across i apologise! anyway i am glad to see that people feel so strongly on here about the migrant situation which it seems is getting worse, with "swarms" heading for the UK? why for all the reasons i and others have already made clear, its really not hard to understand. if they were real asylum seekers they would go to the first country of safety not cross many borders to get here. when they do get here they come in illegally and as JFK says join the black economy, which does not contribute in any way to our society it just takes and bypasses it, wrong and it must be stopped.
  14. once they are here they claim asylum and then get an allowance then access to free medical treatment and housing, its called playing the system, even when caught or if they are refused all they have to do is report to a police station........which they rarely do
