  1. I agree ! Recent fiascos including forcing the teams to keep the terrible elimination qualifying for Bahrain are really not helping anything, but the sky announcement may not be as bad as it first seems. Everything is pointing towards a new streaming service direct from FOM becoming available before 2019 so Sky may not be the only option.
  2. A tiny bit of research and you'd have noted what the logo would likely be for. You'd have also noted the OP is a del-boy style character simply looking for a freebie. The design industry is overrun with people offering very low-priced and even free work, which is slowly killing it as people begin to think £10 for a logo is a fair price. It always shows me how much faith someone has in their business with how much they're willing to invest. People can tell a bad logo a mile off, so freebies mite says some short term cash, but it also makes the business much more likely to fail.
  3. Sadly I can't see Audi/vw group wanting to join F1 anytime soon. They've said they have no plans to and I can't really blame them. They're doing extremely well in WEC and have been for years now. Buying a team and developing an engine will still take years and they've just seen how Honda messed it up. There were rumours of Renault buying Redbull or tororoso and having a full works team, but I'm not sure that would happen eithe, biut it seems more likely than Audi. As much as I dislike Redbull, if Renault leave that's a terrible thing for the sport. With manor, lotus, force India and Sauber also hanging by a thread and even Williams far from safe, the future isn't looking good at all.
  4. Why do you expect someone to design a logo for free ? Designers are professionals after all. No other industry suffers from people asking for freebies. You wouldn't ask a plumber or builder to work for free.
  5. I disagree, almost every race the mechanics watching in the garage will throw their hands up or shake their heads at a crash. Its a natural reaction to be disappointed after all of the hard work they've put in. Hamilton is no different and overall I think he dealt with it all quite well. He only hit the board a little which didn't even do any damage. The front wings are completely stripped down after the race and almost never re-used anyway. Mercedes were also running a "Monaco spec" wing which would't have been re-used. I'm not so sure many drivers could beat Rosberg. I think we have to credit him for doing a good job. He's in the best car and Mercedes know this yet continue to employ him, so they must see how good he is.
  6. From the transcript I'd say it was more a team blunder. Peter Bonnington to Lewis Hamilton - Safety Car, Safety Car. So we are staying out. Lewis Hamilton to Peter Bonnington - Are you sure it’s the best thing to stay out? These tyres have lost all their temperature. Everyone’s going to be on [super-softs] now. Peter Bonnington to Lewis Hamilton - OK. Copy, copy. Box, box. Sounds like Hamilton questioned the call which is quite normal. It would have been easy for the team to correct him and explain Rosberg and Vettel wouldn't pit as they knew this.
  7. The BBC never pick the first race due to its time slot. With how the selection process works they never really get the chance as they first need to secure the finale and the British GP. That only leaves one other selection. Canada, Spa, Monza and Monaco would usually be the next in line, possibly even Mexico this year. The BBC would opt for those over Australia.
  8. Why? You feel sorry for someone who gets to visit Brazil and enjoy the biggest football tournament available... That makes no sense. Personally I envy them.
  9. To be fair its mainly England fans who always over expect. We've lost two games to two teams ranked above England. Its not really a surprise. We're not going to win the world cup again. We're too far behind other teams in terms of quality. I think we're lucky to even be at the world cup, so why not just enjoy it for what it is and not expect too much from players clearly out of their depth. Some of the lower ranked teams are out their having the time of their lives, so why do we take it so seriously ? No other countries mention England as even a dark horse, but every time we big up our chances and then seem shocked when we lose. That is the definition of being insane. Its been a great world cup and I can't wait to see who wins. Lets just enjoy it for what it is... A game.
  10. The only outcome without causing complete chaos. Reading the explination its actually unbelievable from RedBull. I've tried to be fair to them in other comments, but what a disgrace.
  11. It was one of the best races I've seen in ages. Great driving all through the field. Apart from maldonado.. when will they throw this idiot out of f1 ?
  12. you didn't state that so how could I know ? Besides, I didn't say thats what I thought. I said that they may try flip the blame. I doubt you'll get anywhere as theres zero proof or evidence.
  13. If you're full comp its free from "chips away" or whatever they're called. Trying to blame someone is impossible. They could say its your fault for possibly driving too close.
