  1. The person who said it has said they live a few doors down, seems genuine?
  2. It says on Star's facebook a man was gardening and fell out of a tree.
  3. They can't just refill it like that, they don't have change on the shopfloor.
  4. I can highly recommend a plumber Adam Tweed (a.tweed username on here). He has been to fit my dishwasher today. He did a really thorough job, is tidy and very helpful. I would recommend him to anybody and would definitely call him again for any plumbing jobs. His number is 07708939428/0114 3273735 and his email is a.tweed@hotmail.co.uk
  5. My other half is 40 in December and I want to throw a surprise party. I am on a limited budget and am struggling because it's bang in the middle of Christmas party season. I need a room that will hold aprox 40 to 50 people, a disco and a finger buffet. City centre, Hillsborough/North Sheffield. Budget is around £200 to £300. Any recommendations? Oh and I need teenagers to be allowed in as our kids are 14 and 15.
  6. Could it be the Sharrow Festival? On the link I posted it says it's going on while very late and that it's in Mount PLeasant Park. If so the Police should know where it is!
  7. Just been looking on Facebook and wonder if it is the Sharrow music festival? https://www.facebook.com/events/853891647956451/ If so they shouldn't be allowed to go on so late! I'm off to work now after zero sleep
  8. We have removed our old gas fire and opened up the fireplace. We were originally thinking of having a fire basket and burning smokeless fuel on it. (Not as our main source of heating, we have gas central heating). A chimney sweep came out, swept and smoke tested our chimney and said it is sound. All it needs is the gas terminal taking off the chimney and a new pot on instead. He advised us to get a multifuel stove, and said we wouldn't need a liner. As the chimney opening is to the side we would need a galvanised steel sheet with an access hatch to sweep the chimney. So we have looked around and fancy a Firefox 5 cleanburn stove, which we could get for around £400 online. If we got all the stuff would a hetas engineer come out and fit it all for us and certify it, or will they only do it if they supply the stuff? I have seen a couple of fitters mention on their websites that they won't do it unless you fit a liner? If we did it ourselves would the council sign it off without a liner? Another question is if we just went for the open fire option does that have to be signed off as well? Thanks in advance.
  9. We used Ecclesfield ariels, they did a good job at a reasonable price
  10. Because it would've been nice to know what they were showing, which steelworks, where was the bridge, what was the pub, who were the men all lining up and why etc. It's nothing to do with lack of imagination. The programme was supposed to be about Sheffield, so it would have been nice to know where abouts the clips were filmed. Like someone said, if it didn't have Sheffield in the title it you wouldn't know where it was filmed.
  11. Some great footage, but it would've been better with a bit of narrative or some text, telling us what places are etc.
  12. He was his adoptive father and adopted Craig when he was 12. We don't know at what age Craig moved out or how close they were.
  13. Beres on Herries Road isn't far from S5 and does lovely buns too :-)
