yeah, the woman who asked me for ID had served me the week before! I said this and she said 'I serve thousands of people' ??

I haven't read the whole thread, but I myself am only concerned with unsolicited calling at my door. I have nothing against any group of people, whatever their belief, I simply do not want people knocking on my door when I did not ask them to. I am a grown up, I can research and decide on what I want to believe in, buy or give donations to, without people coming to my door and telling me what I should do. I think that is what most people are annoyed with.

Oh yes you're right, they are just as annoying and I would say exactly the same on a thread about any of them too.

Because they are knocking on peoples doors, often early on a Sunday, when thats the only day most of us can have a lie in, that is not subtle, it's annoying.

They're knocking on my door now! There's a gang of them outside. It shouldn't be allowed, if I want to find out about Jehovah then I will, I don't need someone to knock on my door and try to impose their beliefs on me.

I got ID'd on my 30th birthday night out! I was meeting friends and the doormen wouldn't let me in, my friend had to come out and when we both said it was my 30th they let me in

I have just been to the shop and bought alcohol and have yet again been asked for ID! It happens quite a lot, not as much when I'm out in town now, but still in the supermarkets every once in a while. I'm 35...I used to be flattered but now I think its a bit daft, I am clearly old enough to buy alcohol.

I still would never pay those ridiculous prices, maybe if they sold them at a reasonable price more people would buy them...that would make more sense than closing a cinema!

I'm sure they won't close the cinema if they can't rip us off with drinks anymore! I will never buy any drink or food from there whether I take my own in or not...

That is ridiculous, I would never pay that. Last time I went I just took drinks with me, they dont know, I do the same when I go to the cinema, I have 4 kids, so I'm not paying £20 or whatever for some drinks, people are mad to buy them

I was thinking it was kids at first, but with the gnomes now too, maybe it is adults? Will see if theres anymore tomorrow!
