  1. Hi, Need some help here! I have read all the forum postings and called a lot of the people recommended in the threads but I can only get one person to quote fitting tiles which I have already bought (they were pretty expensive!). A lot of companies recommended will only fit if you buy the tiles from them! I really would appreciate if anyone could suggest a reliable and reasonable fitter who will just lay the tiles. Thanks in advance
  2. Thanks for the pointers fellow pudding lovers. I'm off to asda or jack fultons to quench my longing!
  3. I've got a serious problem. I never had any Christmas pudding this Christmas and this I cannot get my mind off it this week. My body is telling something is wrong I need to have my annual fruit desert. Can anyone tell me where I can buy a Christmas pud now. I've tried Tesco's and Morrison's without any joy. No time wasters please! Johnny
  4. Giving out the right the pills is not the same as giving out the right fags and while you may think you are the only person in the world waiting for a prescription to be dispensed there is likely to be prescriptions before you being worked on. This is known as a queue system! When dispensing the pills, the pharmacist needs to check your dispensing history to see if you may be on any other medicines that might interact with your pills. They may be also checking if you have got any allergies which the pills may cause problems with if you are having them for the first time. They also need to label the box with an instruction/information label by law. These details on this label needs to be double-checked by someone else just to make sure that a possible 'typo' tells you to take 10 pills twice daily instead 1 pill twice daily and possibly kill. Its nothing like selling a box of fags and can be a lot more dangerous if these things are not done properly.
  5. Do anyone know of a good one. My Bosch hover is not sucking as well as it used to...no married jokes please. Oh go one then! Let me know if you know a good one...hoover repair man or woman. Thanks in advance
  6. I'm forced to go to Meadowhell because the selection of shops is far better than town. I do hate the place though. Its way to manic in there. Like other poster say if its not people just being idiots, stoping right in front of you and getting in the way its the pram dodgems taking your ankles off. I will only ever consider going after 5 pm. I used to live in Manchester and the Trafford centre was sooo much nicer - Meadowhell is its poor cousin!
  7. Thanks, I'll try Harolds tomorrow first off and then it will be you lockman!
  8. Hi, Can anyone tell me where I can buy an Oval Cylinder lock to replace a broken one on my front door. I somewhere that will be open tomorrow so I can get it done all in the one day. i would buy it today but i don't know the size I need to get until I remove the broken one? Thanks, Johnny
  9. Ask Mr Senior to stump up for it. I've hear he has bags of it especially to offer players from other local clubs to coax them to come play with Tigers.

  12. Hi, There is a lack of evidence on the whole on what to recommend for allergic rhinitis during pregnancy. There are however some practical points you should try to follow: - Avoid drugs during the first trimester (three months) if possible - Use medicines that are nasal sprays rather than oral medicines (Nasal administration results in lower levels of drug in the blood stream which is normally safer) - avoid decongestants (Sudafed and the likes) when possible The safest antihistamine is Piriton (chlorphenamine) as it has been used for donkey's years and experience implies that the risk is very low. Unfortunately they may make you drowsy. Speak to you GP or pharmacist if you have any specific concerns though. Have fun getting pregnant.
  13. I think its got be a new plastic cover and extending the pipe. Shame I like the cast iron ones but there you go. Thanks for the posts!
  14. Hi, I have this drain in my patio that has a couple of a, I believe to be, cast iron drain covers. Recently I have had a new waste pipe plummed out from my cellar into the drain. The water is coming out at pressure and because of the drain covers the water is spashing back on my outside wall and all over the patio. Not ideal. What I want to do is to put holes in my covers to feed and extended drain pipe through so it can't splash on the covers. I've got a couple of photos (see http://drop.io/e7jzsbk) that might explain it better. What I'd like to know is if it is possible to cut out holes in the covers or will they just break. If I can, what can I do it with or do you know is there anywhere I coud bring them to get then cut or fabricated with a 100mm hole in it? Not exactly a steel question but i'm sure someone in sheffield knows enough about iron to send me in the right direction. Thanks, Seanmac
  15. Mrs Lobster (Nice!). Can you remember the name of the garage. PS Thanks for all of the advice guys. Vive la Forum!
