  1. Yesterday i was driving, went on 2 change gear (which selected ok), released the clutch pedal, clutch pedal went down and back up fine but nothing happend, i couldn't drive the car it was just creeping @ about 5mph. iv'e checked clutch fluid and similar obvious things all is ok, the gears are moving about ok as is the clutch pedal but nothing seems 2 be engaging as it should and can't drive car, when it's fired-up it'll start 2 creep forward and when selecting reverse it'll creep backwards. iv'e had more cars than i care 2 remember and had enough probs with various things including clutches 2 last me a lifetime, when a clutch go's u just know the clutch has gone but this doen't feel like that, the only thing i'm sure about is that it's something not engaging correctly between gears/box and clutch? can any1 give me a better idea of wat this fault is likely 2 be, the clutch or clutch bearings or watever????? HELPPPPPPP
  2. dropped my msi u135 laptop/notebook last nite, working fine stil but just over a quarter of the screen down 1 side has half black & half white patch with multi-coloured lines going down it but rest of screen is as normal. i'm told lcd screens don't crack/break, they leak. i'd rather know what the fault is and if fixable b4 i take it 2 a shop or anything. really appreciate any1 with any knowledge. thanx
  3. done the driver update but made no difference, will try the settings though thanx!
  4. i have a msi u135 laptop/notebook. at least 2-3 times a day the wireless crashes, a red X appears on the wireless icon in the bottom right hand corner and says no connections available. i try turning the wireless on and off with keys fn+f11 but nothing, then disabling & re-enabling it then if i'm lucky a troubleshoot will auto ask me if i want 2 apply fix which solves it. like i said this happens every day mininum twice, it's annoying and my common sense tells me it ain't normal, been happening now 4 a good 6-8months. any1 with any knowledge, ideas etc etc of how 2 solve it and what the cause of it may be then please let me know as it's driving me stupid now:rant:
  5. just wondering what the current scrap prices are for alloy wheels and copper mainly?
  6. 2000 Yamaha 600 Fazer have a whole bike breaking for spares due 2 seized engine. most parts available, all are in clean near mint condition. any1 interested then let me know what ur after.
  7. lived on saunders rod for a few yrs and left late 2001, i worked at the windsor for a short stint sometime in 99/00 for a couple of months. wybourn is what i call 'the real world ware real people' live. great memories of great times. as for knocking windsor down and replacing with flats/apartments, tell us a new 1, everythin thats been knocked down in sheffield over the last few years has been replaced with flats/apartments, goverment got 2 much money, they wanna spend it on building sumthin different, worth while either that or leave some things alone. windsor may have had a ''rough'' reputation but it's only rough if u cum from typical surburbia.
  8. was wth talktalk 4 a few months until recently. broadband problems from day 1, the modem equipment they supplied us wth is the exact same modem equipment supplied 2 my sister back in 2008. on the 1st day or should i say after the 1st few hours of bein on-line i typed-in the vodafone URL, started loadin then switched 2 some chinese (adult) website/page, and nomatter what URL i typed in (facebook/google/yahoo etc etc) the same chinese thing popped-up, few days later up-on bootin-up my 4month old laptop i discovered i had x48 virus's. did what needed 2 be done 2 get rid of these, laptop back 2 normal, internet runnin normal then not quite 2 days later again the same thing started happening again. phoned talktalk more times than i care 2 rememba (well actually i phoned them wen my phone line wasn't down), their customer service people shouldn't be there cos they were 1st class useless. i can't rememba the in's & out's but basically i tracked down via googling the problem a forum whare people were discussing the exact same problems and with solutions. basically just google ''static IP address'' & include the name of ur operating system (xp/vista/7) and search.....u'll then get the simple step-by-step instruction on how 2 change ur IP address 2 a static IP address. did it, solved the problem, no more re-directing 2 adult chinese sites, no more virus's after replacing the laptop which collapsed after the 100's of virus's brought 2 it compliments of talktalk! switched providers, no problems since, don't switch 2 talktalk, their cheap £6.99 per month deals etc are a farce cos our bills were not once below £32!
