  1. My plan for new year eve is to spend it with family and friends. Also to avoid the racist trolls who are destroying Sheffield Forum. I've managed it for the last few weeks, although I suppose I've spoilt it now by mentioning the scum.
  2. It seems it was a good enough reason for the majority. I'm presuming you are also upset about the 52% who voted to leave the EU and added "more ****** off people of the population for no good reason". It seems a democratic vote is only justified if it is one you personally decide to agree with.
  3. Warwick Student Union held a vote on whether union catering should be vegan. The vote was passed by 52%, I believe. What is wrong with that?
  4. Of course it would be acceptable. Skin colour shouldn't come in to it. There some people on the forum who appear obsessed with the colour of other people's skin. I rather get the impression that some people get up in the morning and eagerly look to see if there is anything in the news anti-white people that they can post about. Why does skin colour matter? We are all born with a brain, heart etc.
  5. In my work I have met some Ukrainian refugees. Mothers and children, who are desperate for it to become safe enough to return. I haven't met even one adult male from Ukraine.
  6. I always try to imagine what I would say to someone in real life before posting. I say "try" because none of us are perfect and we all make mistakes. Sometimes I've asked for my posts to be deleted when I realise Ive offended people. True, there should be differing views on a forum, same as in real life. My brother in law sometimes calls me woke or a corbynist (which I'm not)! We are still best friends though. But why do we have to deliberately try to provoke someone time after time just because we disagree with their personal views? I don't think I've fallen out with anyone on the forum since the days of a certain BNP member and his foreign girlfriend back in the 2000's. Although there are several people who I find it difficult to agree with on most issues.
  7. My point by starting this thread has sadly been proven. Why do posters have be horrible and rude to each other just because they don't agree on everything?
  8. I would have loved to attend as I've known her for over 30 years, but am away on holiday. I hope the funeral went well.
  9. Even though I believe in the usefulness of the vaccine, there is a widespread belief that in the early times of the pandemic anyone who died in hospital with covid was certified as having died from covid. Theoretically I could have stabbed my neighbour and sent him into intensive care, and he got infected with covid and died later, his death could be recorded as covid.
  10. I know groups like BNP EDL etc like to look to Hitler as a right wing hero, but I have always believed he was a socialist. Didn't he lead the national socialist party (NAZI).
  11. I think people should respect your views, as they seem very important to you Irene. We should all be entitled to our views and opinions and not scorned just because we don't agree with each other on everything.
  12. I see several posters being aggressive and scornful of other posters based on their perceived political position. Some posters love to wind people up by throwing terms like woke, extreme far left, guardian reader, scrubber, unwashed, etc at people. Other posters love to throw accusations such as daily fail reader, far right, racist etc. Is there an actual test to find out what we should identify as? I think the world is a sphere so if you go far enough to the left and your "enemy" moves far enough to the right you end up meeting, which means you might actually agree on some things. I self identify as a political circle because I agree strongly with some "left" policies but also with some "right" policies. In the past I have been accused by some of being a commie, and others of being far right. Where are you on the political spectrum?
  13. I'm not sure how you come to the conclusion that all bad things are caused by "hard left radical extremists". I'm not sure that I am officially left or right. On some issues I guess you would mock me for my far left views. However, I also hold views on other issues which you probably praise as been far right.
