I was in Tesco early doors the other day and was walking towards a big Jewish guy wearing a skull cap accompanied by a young guy who I assumed to be his son. Possibly because we were the only folk on the isle I said āgood morningā, he smiled and returned the greeting,It got me thinking, would I have done the same if it had been a Muslim & son dressed in their traditional gear? I canāt answer my own question, and if I went looking for a Muslim guy with son dressed in a similar manner and offered the same greeting it still wouldnāt answer my question. I donāt know any Muslims, donāt have any Muslims living close by, donāt have any Muslin friends, donāt have any Muslim run businesses near by, Iām not running into Jews at every turn, but do know a good few, some as friends and business owners. Am I a racist, or is it the Muslimās place to make the first mone?

The performance against Blackburn, irrespective of the result, was āterribleā, so I look forward to a āclassā performance against West Brom. š

Looking more like 51 points required, hope Iām wrong. š¤Ø

Poor game, we had some luck for a change, weāre in with a chance of survival, nowt else to say.

If in the very likely event of a draw for third from bottom, survival will be decided on goals scored, so it doesnāt get any easier does it? š¤Ŗ

I earned a fair bit more than most in the organisation of which I was a director, I assumed that the M/D earned a fair bit more than me, our salaries were not known by our staff members. In The Public Sector however, the higher paid seniors are obliged to rub the noses of the lesser paid into the dirt.

I canāt help thinking that Vladimir Putin @ Co are smiling from ear to ear at the goings on in the Middle East, I wonder how long it will be before he offers Russian assistance.

Israel are hopelessly outnumbered by Islamic opposition and have to show that they are not phased by it.

Many moons ago folk like this were sent/recruited to far away lands in the name of free-movement, irrespective of the wishes of them or the indigenous population of such places. We now lump everyone that doesnāt fit the required profile into the same bracket, well it aināt working, hence this thread. Homelessness , joblessness and many more nessās derive from something missing in their make up, sort that out and these folk will then be closer to a position to sort themselves out. , Well thatās my two penneth, like it or not.

Were they related to Frank & Kath Drabble who ran The Yorkshireman on Burgess Street?
