  2. Don't think there's been a blackout, just not much to report... Radio Sheff reported right through praise and grumble ...
  3. Saw Cats For Peru there last night... awesome bar the dodgey sound..
  4. Facts are ... police called to interchange due to the behaviour of an individual.... as a result South Yorks Police had to put up a 200 metre exclusion zone. Result.. traffic chaos.. A man was arrested... problem solved though with a lot of disruption..
  5. I think you'll find that WAS the story and they had traffic bulletins every 20 minutes or so mentioning that trains weren't stopping at Meadowhall and a run down of the road problems...

  9. Ok excuse me for being ignorant but what exactly does this fiver go to? Is this for costs? and if so what costs? Prize money? to get free dj's? Or is this going to charity? like your babysitters fees?
  10. Another huge generalisation, I guess you miss the bits in the papers about your area, Parson Cross, Manor, Arbour, etc. I suppose that all the trouble in those areas originates with people who live in Pitsmoor, their regeneration is only required becasue people from Pitsmoor went out and trashed them.
  11. We just chucked 4 very rough recordings of my bands tunes on line. I'd appreciate yer feedback ... and any promoters wanting bands ??? Pm me. anyway if you've got time check myspace com (slash) bonsaicats Thanks Iain
  12. SWFC00 "For me Tequila has got to be the least likely bar in Sheffield to have an indie night bizarre!" Odd concept - but we hope it works This is my propper log on Cheers i
  13. on a related note i'm still mourning the loss of NY Sushi at the Unit (now corp) they also did some boss events at the ski slope. As for dj's quite like J Majik and Wickaman, also french chilled d'n'b merchants Minus 8
  14. It really depends on how knackered it is. If it spins up and the controller works and your dada is still on it then you should be able to recover some of it. Easiest option is for you to unplug your cd / dvd drive and connect your old drive to the cable and power connector. Boot your computer normally and open windows explorer, you should see drive C and also drive D. Drive D is your old hard drive. drag the files you want to recover to a new directory on drive C. One other thing, if the drive works briefly put fails quickly then get a bag of frozen peas, wrap it in a tea towl and stick the drive on top. It might give you a bit more time to work with. Let us know how you get on.
