At the end of the day, if the pupil(s) want to use their own free time to pray (lunch/ other breaks) then I don't see why there's a problem. Mind you, with days getting longer, most can get back home and catch the daytime prayers- so there is a balance here. I think it probably depends on the individual, if they are committed Muslims who want to pray at the prescribed time- then that is when the problem arises.

Problem is, they (police) used to carry out stop and search. But, as most of the persons searched were black, it became a political issue and seen as stereotyping. Not an easy one to deal with- I think if a person looks suspicious and it's possible they might be carrying a weapon, then f*@* it, they should be searched.
