I can recommend Sandy Lane Boarding Kennels in Rotherham. They have a quiet block for nervous or "difficult" dogs that haven't been left before so they aren't upset by the noise in the main block. The staff are really knowledgeable and genuinely love the dogs that are left in their care.

We've used Hippo Signs, North Star Signs and a bloke called john who runs a sign writing place on Derbyshire Lane for our vehicles. All were very good, but we found North Star Signs gave a more polished finish and better cutomer service.

Barnsley Animal Rescue (BARC) have lots of rabbits looking for homes. They are all health checked and neutered and they bond for you too.

I never said she was better than any others as your post implies. You have said yours is better without seeing her to be able to base that opinion on, I have said ours is good based on the experience I have of her.

Merlin is having a nice new comfy bed for his crate and some chewy treats. He loves his cuddly cat too but it has seen better days so will be getting him a new one of those too.

If you are happy Rain then that's great, but I dont consider leaving a dog in a dirty kennel in it's own urine for 8 days so that the fur literally burnt off his feet and through his pads, leaving them ulcerated and burning to be the actions of a company or owner who cares for, or who has knowledge of animals. You might want to refresh yourself with the original thread http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=407186&page=3(post 46 has the pics) of just how bad things were after a short stay, and his condition was nothing to do with not being at home, or in the company of people it was down to pure neglect!!! The grooming staff even admitted to using pure bleach on him to try and get the urine stains out of his fur before we returned!!!!!

Sorry but after the state our Merlin came home in a year ago I wouldn't touch Jaycliffe with a barge pole. We had to take them to court and won. They care so much about the animals she didn't even enter a defence and it landed up with bailiffs going in to sort things out. He is still showing signs of the psychological damage as a result of how he was treated there and the injury he sustained. We now use either Sandy Lane (just down the road from jaycliffes), or Fox Holes Animal Hotel in Barnsley
